Lisa I would hate to kill a mouse, I'd probably put him in a portable mouse house and mail him to Nancy....or let him outside.

Trek, I had to kill it, it was badly injured in the mousetrap and would not have survived anywhere had I let it go. It was suffering.
I had to kill a possum once too, that had apparently been hit by a car. I didn't feel too bad about that though, because I wasn't responsible for injuring it. It was in agony and I was doing an act of kindness.

Morning all! Glad I found you this morning.....

AG, I'll pm you later. I did fine on 1200 calories. A little hungry - more the "empty" feeling than really hungry, kwim? Of course, over the holidays I was used to stuffing myself so it's just a little stomach and mind retraining.

I liked the workout. I advanced to the second level already last night and I like it. I didn't push too hard because I didn't want to be too sore. My glutes are nicely sore today as are my lower abs. It's all good! I took my before pix yesterday too. Tonight I will bike so I'm actually taking in 1400 calories today. I did get a bit dizzy yesterday. And I love a little hot chocolate in my coffee so hey, when mamma's happy, everybodies happy!

Queen, congrats on your anniversary! Sounds like you gals had a nice time last night and I just love hearing about long term relationships. Does my heart good:p

Lise, yuck on the mouse. I know you had to do it - just glad it wasn't me. I did see a mouse in my garage the other day and I unleashed the hounds (literally). Unfortunately, there's something more entising to them in the swamp and I'm having a heck of a time keeping them in the yard these nights.

Deb - I just love your backyard. That hammock is so cool too. I really need to get one again and lay out under the stars. Not as much fun alone though. Jammy party at Deb's place. BYOH(ammock)

Actually, I've got 3 hammocks. The first two at the jammie party get to borrow, the rest of you BYOH. Or we'll have a sewing party and make more.

Bike Theology:
The bike's soul is in the frame, the components are like clothes or earrings or something. You can change them out or take them off, the bike is still "there" in the frame.

Sell or give the frame to someone, and you've given them the "bike." All you have at that point are components.

Now, which tube contains the bike's soul? If you have to replace a tube... say cuz you ran your bike on the roof-rack into your carport... have you changed the bike's soul?

I beg to differ. My bike's soul is in it's hubs and bottom bracket and headset. That's where the grease is, and you need grease to release the soul of each component, and a frame to tie them together into a symbiotic whole. I've upgraded frames, and the soul of the bike stayed with the original hubs and moved to the new frame, along with the 1970 Campy Record derailleurs.

I think the bike/soul theology is the same as the human body/soul theology. The soul is beyond the physical bike itself or the sum of its parts. That said, you need a tube replaced or any of the components etc, that'd be similar to some kind of surgery or injury- in the end, still the same person, fundamentally; their soul is unaltered through the process. If something irreparable happens to the bike and it's no longer useable at all, it has 'died' physically, but its soul is free to escape and become part of some new bike getting soldered together at Specialized just this very moment.

But some bike parts are made to wear out (chains, cassettes, cables) and most human keep all their parts throughout life (barring a heart valve replacement or something). Hmmm...

A groggy good morning TD - I had the worst migraine in the middle of the night. Kept thinking of BMO and her constant headaches. I actually got up and was worried I might be having a stroke or something. Anyway, I was finally able to go back to sleep and woke up this morning with only a lingering headache but I can't move it too fast. I only get migraines once every couple of years so don't know what precipitates them. I suspect last night's had something to do with too much healthy living after 2 weeks of decadence. Yesterday I only ate 1200 calories, burned off 400+ on the bike, NO coffee, NO sugar, NO booze. Aaack, just severe withdrawal I guess. :D

I don't know how to spell echinasea.

I've decided to give TD's new home a chance. As one who has problems with change, this is a good exercise. I will adapt and move forward. :o

blech...Here I am trying to improve my morning ride & the weather decided not to co-operate..Rather embarrasing

My back feels better. Sitting with my back against something is still annoying but am working on core strength.

I adjusted my bike seat a smidgen smidgen & don't suffer the strange numb feelings in odd areas..

Why doesn't bike journal work in KM's???

You can get SEVERE headaches if you suddenly stop drinking coffee/caffeine.
I've had them (in my heavy coffee days), and they can be really splitting and last for days. Nowadays I mix my coffee 1/2 decaff and only have 3 cups a day or so, and it's not a problem.

Yeah I wondered about the coffee but I only drink one cup a day and sometimes I hardly touch it because I'm in a hurry. If I was heavily into caffeine I could buy it. Anyway, I was feeling a bit off all day, mostly due to lack of sleep and I had a bit of a headache but not bad. I, too, would like to bemoan our move to OT. At least where we were before, there was a sense of privacy. A knowledge that if you found it, and felt like you could keep up, then you deserved the relative privacy and familial bonding of TD...

Why???

I too would like to bemoan the move of TD. You see, as hard as it is for me to admit, I <tense moment of silence> am a triathlete.

At first I thought it a little odd that TD was in our forum. Then I was curious and tried to follow along. I have failed at actively engaging myself in TD, I simply could not keep up and I felt like a creepy voyeur. But I appreciated TD's presence, you made us look much more popular and interesting. The forum was getting more hits than it ever will without TD.

Now, we just look like the bunch of geeky, type A, heartrate checking OCs that we are.

PS - Triathlon was a great place to hide. Triathletes are too busy training for 3 disciplines to follow the lightening speed posting of TD, so I'm sure most of us gave up trying. Note: I did not make it around to posting this until a whole day or two had passed since the move.

I hate that first day back after being sick. You either get "wow, you don't look very good, do you feel okay?" type comments, or you get flooded with work you missed when you were sick, or you have that constant lingering brain fog that makes you completely unable to multi-task or speak coherently for more than 30 seconds.

We've got maybe 2 inches? The roads are pretty slick, though.

Lots of people were calling the clinic to see if we were still open, and of course we were. Lots of patients cancelled, too; mainly because so many of our roads were treacherous. One patient called from the ditch his car had slid into, to say he wouldn't be making it today!

I think we should've sent all the shoulder patients out to the parking lot to scrape snow off our cars... hey! Functional activity! Good exercise!:p

Ya know, I'm not much for snow normally, but even I miss it now. I wanna go sledding down the massive hill at the park, shoot across the baseball field and slide into 3rd base. (Ya get extra points if ya can hit 3rd.) The trick is to lift your left cheek just at the correct time when you hit the major bump 1/2 way down. It gives you just the right amount of lift to clear the trailing edge and propels ya even faster. Tons of fun. I wish we had a j-bar to go back up tho. Vikings can be pretty laid back about quakes too. We felt a 4.4 from over in San Jose the year Baby Bear and I were in Santa Cruz. I remember he was doing homework in the living room and I was in the bathroom when there was a rumble and shake and Baby Bear called out "Mom? Was that an earthquake?" "Probably. Unless a giant truck just raced by." "How big was it?" "Um, any books fall out of the bookshelf?" "No" "Light fixture swinging?" "Yeah" "Then I'd say somewhere between 3.5 and 4.5, depending on how far away it was." "Oh. Cool!" I reminded him of it today. He'd forgotten.

when the big one hit here, Nisqually Quake 6.8 in February 2001, that's just what I did, Queen. I was in the lab we call "the control room" and everything started to shake. I knew there was nowhere to hide. So I ran outside and held onto a jersey barrier until the shaking stopped. (Jersey barrier, a concrete thing that keeps cars in their own lanes.) I watched as the flight tower swung back and forth and also a panicked crane operator hanging on for dear life.
Because of that quake, we got a new control room. It was "totalled"

But we've had some fun quakes too, where everything just gently does a pendulum swing..

Yowza! I was working up on Beacon Hill at the VA Hospital during that one. Everything started creaking and sounded like there was a train going through the room next door. I was helping a client/coworker at the time and we both just braced in a doorway until it was over. Then I went around and locked all of the doors and went outside. One thing we all learned was that *nobody* remembered what to do and where to go in an emergency and that's not a good thing in a hospital. We had a bunch of training and drills after that. All in all there was a lot of superfical stuff - cracks and the like, but no real damage and no one hurt, even at the American Lake campus that was very near the epicenter.

One of our patients was in an MRI tube during that one. The staff evacuated the building, but forgot about him! He rode the quake out, still in the tube, then extracted himself and went out into the parking lot where the staff was... I wouldn't've wanted to be the person in charge of radiology that day!

I was in a coffee shop during the Nisqually, and we all ran to the big plate glass window to see what was happening. Oopsy.

Our big one - Loma Prieta - I was on the floor holding my dog Rikki. I didn't realize how bad it was, until a friend called from Washington DC to see if I was OK. He's the one that told me a section of the Bay Bridge had collapsed. Shortly after that the phone went out. Fun times.:(

So was Blyn Mtn, but I won't post the link, cuz y'all must be getting bored with my geologic excitement by now... A couple of the recorders look like they might have set-up errors. Like the one for the Olympics shows non-stop monster EQs for the last week... um, guys? Is this set up on a bridge or trampoline or something? Note to self: self? your full finger gloves have tiny ventilation holes in them, if it's that cold again-get glove liners or disposable plastic gloves I hear is a very cheap effective solution.

Also most there had the ear flap things, I don't wear them because for some odd reason they make my glasses fog up.

Need to figure out another way to keep my ears warm.

Hi, DS and his GF came over tonight and she pulled up her shirt and pulled out a pink pillowcase. Inside of it was a cute little snake. I got to hold it even. THey named it Oroboris or "BORIS" It is about to molt (you can see its eyes are cloudy.) I let two of my cats meet the snake, and both of them thought he smelled wonderful. So I tried to smell the snake and couldn't smell a thing. I found myself feeling envious of the cats because I clearly had no clue as to the wonders of snake scent. Anyway; here "he" is:

I'm alive, I'm alive.
Was online awhile yesterday morning, went home to do laundry and started feeling the stomach buggish unhappiness that was going around so I just stayed home with my sistahs on the phone.

They kept me good company until I went to bed early. Woke up later than usual this morning, still sleepyish but always things to do. Can always nap.

I see there's tension with Mr. Silver on the boards etc...
Now, I'm not generally the type to have to run and take a shower after a man's shadow passes over me, or whatever.... not too worried about a guy reading about chafed labia etc...

BUT
I do have a couple points of curiosity.
Why is he so much more prolific in his posting than Silver ever was?
Why on earth would he take such grand interest in what would be to all outside male observance is a forum-den of Amazons and Glamazons, many very much concerned with the safety and sanctity of their estrogen-laden forums, where concerns of a most private matter (relationship-wise and physically oriented) are read and answered by women.

Another point of curiosity for me, a week after the fact,
Why was TD moved?
TD was a sisterhood in every right. Yes, people developed their own little circles of main acquaintences, but despite occasional cattiness etc, we all knew the thread had one great purpose- Greater than any one of us alone. That puropose was to create a space where we could bring our most heartfelt joys and pains and share them with women who "got" it. It was precious to alternative women but possibly particularly so to the straight women, who often, (I took it, I mean, I could be wrong) needed someone with a woman's mind and woman's understanding to talk to.
We were family, and although we knew it was 'public' it took awhile for people to find it, they'd glance in, lurk, get overwhelmed and leave, or would stick with it, find understanding in the currents of the subplots, and become part of the sisterhood themselves...
It's over now, fundamentally changed, but I still need to know 'why'. We held a vote around August (I think?) as to whether or not it would be moved, and the general concensus was negative. Where, then, was the motivation for the sudden move?
Was this planned? If then, it was obviously not planned by those whom it most concerned and was thus lacking in fairness.
Was it just a sweeping decision made by moderators and administrators? If then, I'd like a reason.
Were there complaints that lead to this action? If so, I don't need names, I want to know what the complaints were.

Occasionally, You will suffer a sudden change in your life, to which there is no rhyme or reason. Swift enough that though you struggle for understanding, you cannot. Although we've patched together our sisterhood, one sister has reached to another and our little dysfunctional family re-established, it will never be the same;
and I want to know why because without that, I cannot make peace with it.

Kits - you are another one who can write so well. I enjoy reading your posts and am always amazed and impressed at your level of insight.

I hear what you're saying, but do you really feel that it will never be the same? Perhaps it won't here, out in the "open" in OT, but not even in the other, less exposed places? Maybe because I am one of the sorta outsiders on TD (yet continue to post anyway, tee hee  ), the other threads feel ok to me. I was initially shocked to see it "out there" in OT on that first day and I tend to avoid this particular thread now for that very reason. But I am beginning to feel at home at the other two threads and hope that one or the other eventually wins out to make reading simpler. I guess what I'm trying to say is that, from my point of view, the group of women is the important part, not the venue. I love to read all of the witty, thoughtful, supportive, and sometimes heart-wrenching posts (ok I don't like reading the sad ones but I do like seeing the support and hugs.) I love the intelligent conversation and appreciate the advice and support I have received myself. Not only are you a group of women who bike (and I do not have access to a group like that IRL), but you are all so bright, articulate, and interesting people. I truly hope that TD can live on, in some other state or country. :)

As for who made it change, I'm curious as well - has anyone emailed the moderators and asked? At any rate, what's done is done. Can't go back so may as well not dwell on it and just move forward. I hope to see y'all down under, or up north. :)

So the move has made no difference to me. I was half expecting TD to get closed down just because of it's sheer size. I don't know what effect that has on the forums as a whole.

Is there tension? I know Mr S asked if it was OK, and was given the go ahead by many of us here. You have to admit, we are a kinder, gentler forum. Some of the other sites can be very.....testosterone laden. None of the helpfulness or encouragement that makes TE what it is - but lots of competition and challenges. Can you blame him for wanting to be here?;)

I was going to go to the movies today, but my sister called and wants to come over and show me her pix from Germany. Maybe tomorrow, since I have the day off.

Change happens. Nothing ever stays the same, nor can we erase things that have happened and put them back exactly as before. It's usually more healthy to look for the positive in change and move forward than it is to dwell on the negative. It helps us grow, and can also sometimes help us discover unexpected new insights. TE is an incredibly warm, supportive, and wonderfully dynamic group.

not that my opinion counts for much or SHOULD count for much; but the way i keep track is by clicking on "new posts" so i always know which threads are most active. it doesn't matter if they're in humor or triathlon. i can see where stuff is happening and i imagine a lot of other people can too.
Mr Silver doesn't bother me; my husband thinks its odd that he's so comfy here, but he does seem harmless enough.
so wherever it is, i will probably be able to find it.

All I can say is that my life is pretty plain
I like watchin' the puddles gather rain
And all I can do is just pour some tea for two
And speak my point of view
But it's not sane, It's not sane

I just want some one to say to me
I'll always be there when you wake
Ya know I'd like to keep my cheeks dry today
So stay with me and I'll have it made

And I don't understand why I sleep all day
And I start to complain that there's no rain
And all I can do is read a book to stay awake
And it rips my life away, but it's a great escape

escape......escape......escape......

All I can say is that my life is pretty plain
ya don't like my point of view
ya think I'm insane
Its not sane......it's not sane

I am soooo SICK of the weather here. If it's not pouring rain it's gale force winds or a combination of both. It's pretty much been like this since Christmas so there has been zero opportunity to get out on my bike and its driving me crrrrazzzy.

Plus I have five stitches in my head due removal of a mole so can't wear a cycling helmet anyway.

Bangs head on desk.

That's all. Just wanted to vent.

PS - Kit and Lisa I like the new avatars

Bruno - Sorry to hear about your head, I had the same thing done last summer on my back and couldn't wear a bra for a week!

It's another icy/rainy/grey day here in Central IL...we're planning on a lazy day around the house watching movies. It had been so long since we've rented any movies our vid club card was expired...on the plus side that means practically every movie in the place is "new" (we only go to a movie every two or three years). :D

until this winter, rain was no big deal. we get 32" a year average. but then last year we got 49". Rain instead of being a soft gentle annoyance became an ugly monster that unleashed trees and flooded down streets. A lady DROWNED here because a torrent flooded into her basement sound studio.

Our rain and our typical weather is something you can really ignore.
But Starting in NOVEMBER of '06, it became rather hard to ignore.
Normally, in January, we have ominous dark clouds (the sun doesn't get high enough to shine through them) but you can ride your bike. But not when it's FROZEN! There's still ice on some major streets, not too bad in a car but on a bike, it could mean broken ribs.
I'd rather have our (NORMAL) rain back.
In the summer is when I really appreciate Seattle's weather. While everyone else is dying, we're wearing longsleeved jerseys and raincoats... but not always. we get hot days too. just not very many.

Pax
01-15-2007, 06:59 AM
That's so surprising to me...I always thought of Seattle as a very rainy place but we average 42-46 inches of rain a year here in Central IL. So you get beautiful scenery, a relatively mild winter, and less rain than us??? Well crap. :(

That made me laugh.

The weather here has been really unseasonal - we should be having sharp frosts and some snow. Instead endless rain and high winds. The rain makes the sky so leaden it's really depressing - the days are short and dark enough at this time of year.

They are sawing and hammering over my head. Can't go to work or the library because both are closed. Am sticking around to see if the cats are going to be so stressed out by the noise (laying new hardwood floors, hammering on window trim) that I'll have to take them to the boarding place. I think I'm more stressed so far than they are. Ugh.

Noise really bothers my cats too Salsa. Even from the television (I should leave it on during the day when i'm not home just to get them used to it.)

We dismantled my office, the bookshelves, closet, everything. I thought the disorder would scare the cats. NOPE they loved it. They jumped into every box, checked out all the new empty space...
But when i stamp the snow off my shoes when i come into the house, they freak!

I feel for you Salsa. Our old neighbor decided to rebuild his back porch and lay new decking, the probelm was he had no skill whatsoever with carpentry (I grew up a carpenters daughter and have decent skills), so every single nail he sunk took about 50 whacks from the hammer...it went on for WEEKS! Early in the morning, every weekend, evenings... bangbangbangbangbangbangbangbangbangbangbangbangbangbang *pause* bangbangbangbangbangbangbangbangbangbangbangbangbangbang *pause*.

It's funny--it's like with sick babies. The noise bothers me but I know what it's for. The poor cats, though--15 and 16 years old, with their own medical fragilities, etc., just know that awful noises are happening, and I can't explain it to them. Poor everyone, I keep mumbling to myself--poor everyone.

Wish I had some of those carpentry skills. I am so incredibly left-brained--can pick up any foreign language; still get a headache from geometry.

No no no--I'm good at math calculation, statistics, etc. I like that stuff. It's only the visual-spatial stuff like geometry that I can't do well. Mr. Salsa the engineer is the world's best fix-it guy, baby MacGyver--but doesn't have woodworking skills either. Very handy with gadgets, computers, machines, and sticking stuff together that has fallen apart, though.

No, I don't think they enjoy being boarded. But our boarding place is especially nice. It's in a huge heated garage that's part of their home and of Jeff's metal sculpting studio. It's really homey, it's cats only, and they are rotated in and out of their cages all day long into a playroom--toys, windows to sit in, etc. And they know the place and the people very well, so it's manageable. And it's only a five minute drive away.

Yak Trax! I snapped 'em on and walked, into full gale wind and driving snow, about 2 miles to my spin class, then another mile home. It's all about the gear, ladies. A good snug hood, wool under, windproof over, and yak trax on your boots. Only time that wasn't enough was once when we had a thin membrane of water on top of ice and the wind drove me backwards downhill so I had to grab onto a power pole and hang on for dear life. But those conditions are rare.

As for spin class today, I'm still sampling various coaches. Today's coach goes right off my list! I had to keep waving at her to turn the sound down. It was at pain level already before she tried shouting over it. Hey! I came here to lose calories, not the rest of my hearing! And she kept on and on about making a "deal" with us about how hard we'd ride this stretch or that. Well, deals go two ways, woman. I'll ride hard if you'll turn down the volume. She'd nod, then turn it back up anyway. And she'd turn it up more when she wanted us to pedal faster. I tried telling her it was the beat that got me to go faster, not the volume. She'd nod, and then ignore me. So after class I went up and talked to her and told her I was serious about this. I have hearing loss from farm machinery and rock concerts back in the 60's. I don't want to lose the rest in spin class. Then she says that some of the folks in class wear foam ear plugs to protect their hearing, and I'm all " And you offer that as an excuse? as a hint to ME? You don't see that as a hint to YOU?" But I gave up telling her, just shook my head and left. So I'll work my schedule differently. I'll do my lactic acid workout on Thursdays and do the recovery class that follows hers if I want to do a Tuesday session.

I think the other cartons labeled "salmon leftovers" really are salmon leftovers. This one just got put in the freezer without a label update. ;) Nice cake though. chocolate with chocolate frosting. Kept well in the freezer. Still very tasty. Now I get to test whether chocolate is a migraine trigger for me. Hope not.

Oh, and the weather isn't all that heroic. Gale winds and snow, yes, but not all that cold even with wind chill factored in. So all it really took was the right gear and a bit of patience trudging into the wind over the "barren Strinda" (Snaustrinda) flats.

so i had to show off my "battle wounds" to the guys in the office. they were impressed at what a good job doc did with cutting the spot. and now i have to do some cute art work on my toes with them hanging out. that is my mission for the night.

i'm a bit swollen though. :( need to ice when i get home.

you need ice? We've got plenty!

p.s. Got home to a "disappointed" dh. He'd been looking forward to salmon leftovers. Had taken a clearly labelled carton out of the freezer last night. Gets home and gets to work on his dinner and what does he find in the carton ... chocolate cake. :p He made himself a ham&cheese sandwich instead. I had ham&eggs. Now it's tea and cake time. :D

Hmm, I guess that'd be salmon in a way he'd never had it before?

mmmmm....salmon. My favorite, along with tuna and swordfish. Being landlocked really fresh fish is a treat!

DoW: I know what you mean (I think) my 6:am spinning instructors, and most of the participants, are cyclists, so they treat thier classes as such. My gym changed schedules that so that doesn't work with my training schedule anymore, and the damn Tues. pm instructor treats class like an aerobics class. I hate that! Bad music, yell, yell. yell...It does nothing for cycling. On the contrary, my Thurs. am instructor, my only salvation, is a hard core racer that incorprates our spinning class into his training! Thank goodness for that, otherwise I'd have to pay for a coach!

CWR - did you have a cast? I had both feet done waaay back in '78 and had casts up to my knees on both feet for at least a month. I just remember how painful it was the first couple of days in the hospital. I'm guessing they've improved the procedure since then?

chickwhorips
01-17-2007, 08:31 AM
KG i have one of those black moon-boot looking cast things that i can take on and off. i don't wear it more often than i do. i have it on if i'm going to be up for a long time or going somewhere. or if i try to put any weight on my foot i make sure the cast is on. i've been trying to put about 1/3 of my weight on it. any more and it gets a little sore.

what i think is neat is they gave me a cyro cuff (http://www.buyaircast.com/cryo-cuff-ankle.htm). highly recommend it. brought it to work with me today to help with the swelling and pain.

a wonderful day at the office. no one is around. they all went to a city crisis meeting so its only me. glad i didn't go though, listening to the rain and wind outside, glad i don't have to put up with it!

The frozen north? I'm in the summery southern hemisphere!!!

I think the frozen north isn't so frozen at the moment. My dad emailed me & said there's not much snow in Calgary atm..

HOw's Chi-town? Is that a nickname for Chicago?

If we ever decide where we're going on our trip, we may just be flying via Chicago...

Well, it is still dark and I have been awake for an hour. I took my first dose of fosamax (which is anti-osteoporosis) but it is a very controversial drug so I am worried about taking it. You have to take it and stay upright for 30 minutes
(or it will damage your esophagus!!)
and not eat anything for those 30 minutes either.

Mimi, that doesn't sound like any fun at all! I was blessed with bones like a draft horse so my doc doesn't think I'll have any issues with osteoporosis.

my sister has "draft horse bones" too and she's got it. She's short with huge bones and she's also overweight, and it got her too. It's genetic unfortunately.

What's most unfun about it is that I am not sure that this really nasty strong drug does any good at all!

Well, well, well..... I have to admit, when this thread got moved, it took a lot of steam outta my sails. I don't have time to keep up with multi threads right at this moment in time but I'm trying. I finally got back here today and see that Queen "bumped" TD a few posts back. Whodathunk we would ever do that? **shaking my head in disbelief**

For me, the 21st has held some bad memories over the years. My Dad died on 3/21, my bad accident happened on 5/21 (I was also 21), a former love was killed on 6/21 (this is also my Dad's b-day, so you can imagine that one was especially hard), my oldest bro told me he hates my guts and I'm no longer family on 11/21... (we haven't spoken since - over 2 yrs, but it's actually not a bad thing really cuz he's a total azz!) So here we are again on another 21st. It's my 2nd bro's b-day today and I know it's gonna be a "you aren't quite good enough for us" kinda day. (I don't keep up with the Joneses well enough for them, never got married, don't have kids...blah, blah, blah. My bad.)

So I'd like to see us hit 10K today. What do you say ladies?! I'd really like to change the tide for today anyway and have a good one this time. Even if it's just here on TD.

So thanks for all of the laughs you've given me over the last few months. You have no idea how it has helped to get me through some not-horrible-but-less-than-stellar days. I've gained some wonderful friends and acquired some sisters along the way... I've met a few and my life has been made much richer for it. I look forward to meeting many more and giving them a hug in person. And most of it started here on this thread. Again, I thank you all.

Here's "my boys" (http://youtube.com/watch?v=Z4dTasiyXw0&mode=related&search=) on You Tube, just for you ladies.

Have a fantastic day, take care and be safe. ;)
