This one was home made, from the Paleo cookbook. Basically, mint, walnuts, olive oil, and lemon juice. I used a smaller amount than the recipe and we still had some left over.

Sunday
B: bacon and eggs with veggies scrambled in, black coffee, melon
L: mango sausages, apple with almond butter, coconut milk drink with chai spices in it
S: half a peach
D: salmon with hazelnut butter, garlic butter green beans, leftover butternut squash puree, 3 baked chicken wings, banana
I was an eating machine at dinner! I spent the entire day standing or walking and since I'm back to wearing the boot, I think I burned a lot more calories than normal. Plus, I was exhausted!

Hey Catrin don't know much about your store, but I just repackage the cherries into a smaller bag and then only pay for the poundage.

Cherry soup? Interesting idea! I had to resist the lovely cherries at the store. Good price per pound but they were in 5 pound bags - a bit much for one person.
I eat as many as I can, because I love cherries and I live alone, then take the ones left at the bottom of the bag and cook them down with a bit of almond extract, sugar (amount depends on how sweet the cherries were),a bit of lemon juice, some water to keep them from burning to the pan, and some cornstarch. (I maybe had 15 cherries in the last batch I made, so I didn't even bother to pit them and just fished the pits out as the fruits fell apart.) Instant sauce for ice cream or frozen yogurt. I imagine it would be good on Greek yogurt with some toasted almonds, but I haven't tried it yet.
Or I just pit them and freeze them for future use. Last time I made a cherry crisp out of them, but smoothies would be good too. (I don't own a cherry pitter, so I just used a paring knife and fingernails. The kitchen looked like I'd killed someone, but I had a lovely big bag of frozen cherries.)

Monday

I had to eat the banana and nuts because I had to run an emergency errand at lunch and wouldn't get to eat until really late. It was not one of my better days - look at that gaping whole where veggies should be!!! :o

17 mile bike ride :) It was an easy ride, but awesome at 5:15 in the cool/dark of the morning!

S: more TJ nut, dried cherry mix
D: TJ whole wheat tortilla with pulled chicken breast, salsa, tomatoes, a small romaine lettuce salad with a bit of cheese (too lazy to cook)
Today: (Rest day)
B: steel-cut oats, 2 whole eggs, skim and coffee
S: TJ nut, dried cherry mix
L: pulled chicken breast, last of the homemade spinach pasta salad, small amount of no-fat yogurt/cucumber/tomato salad. 1/2 orange. Coffee
S: probably will be a banana since that is all that is left :)
D: steamed Bok Choy, smoked andouille chicken sausage, brown rice. Skim milk.
S: fresh strawberries with no-fat TJ European style yogurt

D: guacamole, ceviche, salsa - all with tortilla chips, and then a salad with lettuce, fajita steak, guac, pico de gallo.
45 minutes later: severe stomach cramping...I almost had to pull over! I will never eat tortilla chips again. Corn is officially removed from my diet in all forms for good.
Saturday

L: salad from Chipotle - carnitas, lettuce, pico, guac, salsa

test #2: 2.5 small squares of 77% cacao dark chocolate. It was really sweet to me, but delicious and I had zero digestive, mood, craving or sleep repercussions. Yay!

S: Kashi Winter Wheat cereal with a few nuts and skim milk
1 hour hill-climbing ride :) Wanted to ride longer but if I ride too late during the week I can't sleep...
D: roasted skinless chicken breast, romaine lettuce, skim milk
Yeah, I've had problems fitting veggies in recently for some reason - I HAVE them, just don't want to cook for some reason...

Our kitchen is temporarily out of commission as we have the ceilings repaired so things are a bit sketchy come dinner time. This morning, I had to eat breakfast and prep my lunch in the dark, too!

It's funny what meals you remember. Back in the summer of 1993, I went to NYC to see a college friend. She lived near Union Square Park and its fabulous farmers market. It was such a novelty to me then, as farmers markets--even in the liberal college town where I lived--were still a thing of the future. At the market one day, I bought some beautifully ripe tomotoes and a loaf of challah bread. The only thing I remember adding to it was a bit of spicy brown mustard. It was one of the best, most sublime, sandwiches ever.

B: Applesauce with cinnamon (I eat like a 5 year old sometimes...), and one of those bottled frappucino things (vanilla)
S: a couple of doughnut holes from the event I volunteered at.
L: Free pizza and a salad from the above event.
S: goldfish and chai with milk and sugar
D: Chicken coated in a mixture of salt, ground pepper, rosemary and thyme, cooked with onion, garlic, celery and carrot in a bit of butter and cooking sherry. Can of Blue Sky cream soda to drink.
Today:
B: white chocolate mocha from the campus Starbucks. I'm out of cereal and applesauce :(
L: PB&J and Dayquil
D: no idea, with a side of I'm lazy. We may be going to Applebee's to celebrate a friend's birthday, though.
Edit: We did end up going out. I got a burger and ate about half of it and most of the fries, a salad (ate all of it) and a very small bit of cheesecake for dessert.
Did you really eat a goldfish?

~39 mile ride - had close to 1 bottle of Accelerade during the ride and a Cliff bar at the turnaround point (rode to an event and had a 90 minute break). I was so salty at the end of the ride that I had a couple Margarita Shot Blocks when I got home - they have the highest sodium content
L: smoked andouille chicken sausage and homemade caprese salad, 1/4 cantaloupe for dessert.
D: roasted skinless chicken breast, homemade spinach/pasta/veggie/greek kind of salad (not much pasta). 1 beer. I might have one more :)
snack will likely be strawberries and yogurt.
Trying my best to make my calorie targets for today - may need to eat more food to do that.

Thanks for posting all of your meals like this, as I start to consider changing the way I eat it is nice to start developing ideas...Like how to eat breakfast without steel cut oats or Kashi Autumn Wheat cereal!

Yeah, we never should have bought those clusters! I finally moved the stupid container to the back of the cabinet so I'm not seeing them every time I open it. Phew!
I do, actually. I have a spice mix that I make in large quantities where I add a little extra dried red pepper flakes to make it extra hot and I mix it in with whatever ground meat I have around. I have never actually put it into casings though. Most of the time, I prefer to cook with bulk sausage anyway. The only time I like the casings better is when I'm just grilling it to eat. In that case, we usually buy the Aidell's brand (often organic) and stick to flavors that don't have extra sugar or cheese in them.

L: grilled chicken kabobs and broccoli. I found a coffee shop in Lowell that has a Paleo menu:). I don't often buy lunch, but today was a day I drove around the same area for most of the day and I had my weekly meeting with my boss in the Lowell office, instead of at my regular site, so I got it to go. They are really nice there and it's in a most unlikely place! A couple of weeks ago I had a scramble of eggs, spinach, sweet potato, and spices and that was awesome.
S: #1, Luna Bar, #2 nuts and cranberries
D: chicken breast on a corn tortilla, tomato, green salsa, avocado, fresh peppers, with some vegetarian refried beans, glass of wine, 2 squares dark chocolate.
This is as Paleo as I can get. Not giving up wine, chocolate, or a few other things. But, as per the discussion in the other thread, it becomes easier to maintain or lose weight, with the more fat I eat, as long as it's combined with no high glycemic carbs.

D: 2 small lean pork chops with a nice Romaine lettuce salad.

60 minute training session
D: smoked andouille chicken sausage, steamed bok choy with a bit of olive oil drizzled on it, salad with baby spinach, mushrooms, onions, tomatoes, marinated mozz. cheese medallion and olive oil/lemon juice dressing. Papaya for dessert, skim milk.

Still missing calorie target for exercise day, but only by about 600 calories this time, better than the >1,000 yesterday :o

My weight is up, but I feel like my body needs rest and food :).

15 mile hilly ride

D: home made guacamole with too many whole wheat pita rounds, salmon sauteed in soy/ginger sauce, sesame broccoli, went out for frozen yogurt, had a kiddie sized cone, which was waaaay too much. Kiddie size has now morphed into almost 2 scoops.
Have our special chef's table dinner tonight. We bid on this at a charity event for the theatre we go to. I really wanted to do a long ride today, but it looked questionable for weather, so I ended up doing a fast 3 mile walk. Of course, the sun is out, although it's really steamy. Won't be reporting the dinner (well, maybe, just to note how much I can really eat).

OK, I now know I am really a lightweight when it comes to eating, or maybe eating and consuming alcohol.
B: omelette with goat cheese, salsa, 2 pieces TJ's uncured bacon, blueberries, coffee
3 mile brisk walk, up hill for about 1/3 of the walk.
L: chicken on a corn tortilla, low fat cheddar, salsa, an apple
I can't even begin to describe the chef's table dinner. The restaurant was in the Westin Hotel at the Boston waterfront; it's not open for dinner, except for private parties. There were 8 of us. DH told them just to give us a "tasting' of each wine, but they didn't. I ended up drinking half of one glass of wine and another full. No more than a sip of the others, which was not hard to do, since I dislike dessert wines and port tastes like medicine to me.
The courses went like this: frisee salad with goat cheese, scallop with truffles, lime sorbet, lamb slices with a little polenta and veggies, mini chocolate torte with whipped cream, cheese plate.
Both DH and I are not feeling that great this morning, but it was an experience. The chef was very nice and explained everything, as well as the sommelier. I did get up at 4:50 and go to boot camp, which may not have been the best choice, but I feel like I need to burn that food out of my body! I have an easy day today, and may even take a slow ride later, after work.

Day 6 of my slide into primal/paleo eating. Have lost 3.5 pounds (even with my succumbing to ice cream last night) though I imagine that is pretty much water loss from dropping all grains from my diet.
Yesterday:
B: eggs, bacon, blackberries, coffee
1 hour hard group training session
S: boiled egg, 1/3 chicken breast, nuts with a few raisins (I was starving - I think my body was demanding sugar at that point)
L: roasted skinless chicken breast/baby spinach salad with veggies and olive oil/lemon juice dressing
S: 8 almonds, small banana
D: more chicken, roasted kale chips, carrots. Ice Cream :o wayyyy too much ice cream....don't know what happened with my usual ice cream discipline but it was gone so there is no longer ice cream in my freezer!
Very happy with how I am feeling, suddenly I've more energy and the mid-afternoon slump is just, plain, GONE. I need to bump up the calories a bit, but that will come as I adjust to more veggies and more variety of them and, of course, increase good fats though I am pretty much already where I want to be in this department.

Today:
Did a very hard just under 50 mile ride. Did not feel so great from last night, mostly from lack of enough sleep.

Then I biked for lst 42 kms. At restaurant, even before we sat down, I gobbled up a fresh apricot from my pannier.

then cycled remaing 46 km. into a headwind-crosswind 75% of time. I was beat.
D: noodles with leftover venison, herbed wine sauce with cooked kohl rabi slices from a previous meal, sauteed green and yellow beans with basil and onions. Blackberry wine. (this was a home meal) Several pieces of cheese.
Tea with milk and handful of fresh cherries, for evening snack.

Did a 51 mile ride with 2300 ft of climbing. During the ride i ate a Luna Bar and one Shot Block, as well as a bottle of Nuun and a little water. I should have drank more. Also had lunch of a soy nut butter sandwich on Ezekial raisin bread and a peach. Then, about 4 miles from home had coffee and half a blueberry muffin made with yogurt. These kinds of rides make me ravenous.

Breakfast: marrow bone broth with a couple ounces of sliced grass-fed beef (from the soup bone), mushrooms, baby spinach. Once this was hot enough I tossed in 2 eggs and allowed them to poach in the broth...divine!
L: roasted chicken and a baby spinach salad with assorted veggies + extra virgin olive oil for dressing and a few strawberries for dessert
D: 4 ounces grass-fed ground beef "burger" on top of romaine lettuce, onion, and fresh tomato with extra virgin olive oil/lemon dressing and a bit of Havarti + dill cheese.
A bit slim on veggies yesterday, but it is getting close to shopping time.

75 minute hard workout - though it wasn't as hard as it once was :)
L: cold roasted chicken quarter and strawberries (between workout and Irish Festival - figured I was less likely to eat bad stuff if I ate first).

D: 3 ounces braised arm roast (heavenly!) with bok choy and kale sauteed with onion, mushrooms, garlic and olive oil. I had a good amount of garlic in the broth for the braising as well. It is good I am single with all of the garlic :) Dessert was a little "shake" made with 1/4 cup coconut milk and strawberries blended with 3 ice cubes. Delish!

L: 39 mile ride, flat to rolling along the south coast of Little Compton, RI and Westport, MA. I ate a handful of dried apricots before the ride and had a turkey sandwich on whole wheat for lunch during the ride
S: I felt weird after the ride, probably a combo of not drinking enough, because it's cooler out and not eating enough right after the ride. I had another handful of dried apricots, but during the 1.5 hour drive home, I should have had more, as I felt dizzy when I got out of the car. I ate a large handful of chocolate, cranberries, and nuts and drank more water and I felt better almost immediately.

I found a decent recipe for making parsnip oven "frys". I no longer eat white potatoes and was curious how they would be, it was fine.
Roasted kale is easy, and my favorite kale for this purpose is Lacinto Kale (sometimes called 'Dino' kale because it looks like a reptile's skin). Actually I prefer Lacinto to other kales but any of them will do - I just slightly prefer the flavor of Lacinto Kale. Trader Joe's is currently selling already-cleaned packages of it for a good price :)
Rip the kale into whatever size you desire, toss with oil of your choice and a bit of sea salt and black pepper, and roast in a 350/400 degree oven for 15-20 minutes. Yummy! Make more than you THINK you will need for of course a lot of volume is lost in the cooking. Play with the roasting time as there is a fine line between done and a bit too-well-done :)

I wish my body tolerated wine better, I bet a nice wine would go well with dinner...and there will be 2 squares of 88% endangered species dark chocolate to go with the Founders Breakfast Stout (a chocolate coffee stout :)

Since restaurants in the North End rarely have dessert, we walked over to Cafe Paradiso (sigh, I want to go back to Italy) where I had coffee and one chocolate almond biscotti.
Proud that I avoided all of the bread basket and I had the least offensive dessert! The biscotti was probably the best I've ever had and totally satisfied me.

Then, the rest of my day went downhill. I had a meeting at lunch time near Boston, and than had to rush back to Acton to get my hair colored. I ate my nuts and cranberries/chocolate on the way to my meeting and a Luna Bar on the way to the hair place. After that, I went to the gourmet farm market and bought a veggie salad with marinated artichokes and some whole wheat rolls, for home. I ate half the salad in my car and then went to a client.
S: I was about to faint after my session, so I at one of the whole wheat dinner rolls in the car and stopped to get some salmon at the fish store.
D: salmon with cumin rub, quinoa, salad, 2 squares dark choco;ate, glass of red wine
One day of eating like this and I gained 1.5 lbs.

Another weird day of eating.

B: OK, DH had his annual meeting of the managers who work for him at the house. When I came home from boot camp, he had a spread of bagels and light cream cheese (we had lox in the fridge) that I could almost taste. Somehow I resisted and made myself an egg scramble with a yellow pepper and the remaining artichoke salad, strawberries, and coffee. I was still in my gym clothes when they started arriving.
L: another long and tense lunch time client session, but I ate all of my nuts and cranberries before going in, so I wasn't hungry. I ate the left over spaghetti squash and marinara with an apple around 2 PM at my desk.
Snack/dinner: My last client of the day is in a short term residential program, so I got home at 4:00. I was very, very ravenous. I had a piece of Ezekial ww bread with some hummus and then saw some left overs in the fridge. Some of DH's employees left their left over lunches (they went out). I took one which was half of a veggie wrap, ate the veggies and had a couple of bites of the wrap. Felt guilty, but still hungry.
So, I ate a cup of soup for dinner, with 3 slices chicken breast, some avocado, and an orange.

Did you make your own sauce?
I like spaghetti squash, don't get me wrong, but I don't like it as a pasta substitute. I like treating it like other squash (there's a Moroccan-spiced version out there that I'd love to try) as a side (or as part of a curry or something), but to me the squash-marinara combo doesn't work well. The squash is too sweet and, well, squash-flavored. Or at least, the one I got was. :confused: That said, spaghetti squash is really good as part of a Thai-style curry, because the sweetness complements the flavors, and it acts like noodles. I used chicken and a bunch of random veggies I found in the fridge with it.
I'm quite excited for squash-and-apple season. I found a bunch of new recipes for squash and pumpkins (soup I might actually like! muffins!), and there are about six pounds of Honeycrisp apples in my fridge. (Yes, I'll eat them all.) I'll be talking out of the other side of my face in January when there's no prospect for fruit other than apples from cold storage for a while, but I'll be excited while I can.

Yes, I made my own sauce - I cook everything from scratch these days as I no longer eat processed foods of any kind. While that means more kitchen time & I still count calories, but I enjoy those calories more than I have in a long time. It wasn't a marinara sauce though it did have a couple tablespoons of tomato paste. The 'sauce' was mainly grassfed ground beef/pork, veggies and coconut milk. Wonderful!

1-hour hard group training session, vegan protein shake afterwards

So, I bought some nice organic butternut squashes yesterday that were on sale. My favorite way to cook this and I will do this on Saturday or Sunday is to
cut the squash in half pre-cook the squash so they are almost done; make a marinara sauce with onions, carrots, celery, garlic, tomatoes, a bit of tomato paste, lots of basil, all pureed in the blender. Saute turkey italian sausage (out of casings), onions, diced zucchini, Make a filling of leftover rice/cottage cheese/onions/diced zucchini squash, italian squash. Pile the filling as full and round as I possibly can on top of the squashes, pour some marinara over the top, place a thin slice of mozzarella on top and bake for about 30 minutes or until all bubbly! This is soooo good.

1/2 liverwurst sammy with swiss cheese on wg bread

Alright - I'm joining in again. I need accountability as I navigate a household move and two more recruiting trips. October has the potential to be hell on my waistline!

I am really loving bone broth right now - my body is craving it probably because it is so rich in minerals and it is a nice way to have a quick and hot dinner as the weather cools...

yoga class (haven't done that in awhile)
L: bought a prepared thing at the local natural foods market while I waited for the cobbler to repair a shoe (this is why I love small town living); combo of sweet potato, black beans, cilantro olive oil

D: 2 red peppers stuffed with ground turkey made with Mexican type spices, sauteed kale and avocado, 2 pieces dark chocolate

Saturday:

I co-led a 38.5 mile ride at a very slow speed.
Lunch was in the middle of the ride, where I ate half of a cranberry-walnut chicken salad wrap and a packet of nuts and cranberries
S: Ate a Luna Bar at the end of the ride
D: went out with friends, where I ate a garden salad with oil and vinegar, whole wheat penne with marinara, and one meatball, and a very small piece of bread. 2 glasses of red wine, and a few bites of DH's chocolate cake dessert
Sunday:
B: everything bagel, light cream cheese, lox, an orange, coffee
half hour of run/walk intervals on the treadmill, totaling about 2.75 miles, including warm up and cool down
L: cup of sweet potato soup, salad with tuna, lettuce, grape tomatoes, a sprinkle of goat cheese
S: piece of Machengo cheese
D: tomato stuffed with curried chicken salad, blueberries, 2 squares dark chocolate, 2 dried apricots
Back to normal eating. I can't totally deprive myself on the weekends.

I won't even try to post what I ate this weekend, but I took my food and campstove with me so I didn't do badly at all outside of a bit too much beer...
Today:
B: eggs scrambled with mushrooms, chopped hubbard squash, beet greens, coffee with cream
1 hour workout
S: chicken thigh
L: eggs scrambled with chopped hubbard squash and spinach (before grocery shopping)
D: Planning to have beef liver, bacon & onions with bok-choy and perhaps roasted beets. Or hubbard squash as there is so much of it!
We will see how the liver goes, my first attempt, ever, to cook it.
Added: The liver wasn't bad! I cooked it with lots of onions and bacon. I don't see it becoming my favorite but I can eat it! That was beef liver, so will have to check out the less strongly flavored types. I burned incense while cooking it - but it didn't have a very strong smell or THAT strong of a taste. I wonder if it was actually from a calf rather than a full grown cow.

Then the hosts (my adviser and his wife) insisted on loading me up with food. :rolleyes:

S: Piece of naan, 2 doughnut holes
S2: 1 cookie, a chicken wing
D: Pasta in a cream sauce (homemade!) with chicken sausage, Brussels sprouts.

I haven't been posting here, as I hate to be the only one posting. I've been eating much less, with DH away, until last night when I went to friends' house for dinner.
Saturday:
sandwich on a whole wheat bagel, with 2 slices low salt ham and a slice of low fat provolone, an orange
34 mile very hilly ride, during which I ate 2/3 of a Luna Bar, had a bottle of Nuun, and ate a baggie half full of nuts, cranberries, chocolate after the ride. Then I raked leaves for 2 hours :eek:.
L: 4 chicken slices, cole slaw, an apple
D: 1/4 lb Coho salmon, kale, salad with walnuts, cranberries, goat cheese, balsamic vinegar , glass of red wine
Sunday:
B: 2 eggs scrambled with a corn tortilla, kale, salsa, 2 slices of turkey bacon, an orange
ran 2 miles on the treadmill
L: chicken salad made with Greek yogurt, cranberries, almonds
D: went to friends' had one beer, one glass of wine. Haddock cooked in parchment with parsley/lemon, over brown rice, green beans, and a big salad. Ate a chocolate chip/blueberry square pastry for dessert

I wouldn't mind getting in an easy ride tonight, or some easy spinning on the trainer, we will see how my legs feel. If not tonight, then early tomorrow morning. My knee is FINALLY recovered and I can get back to riding YAYYYYYY!
Dinner tonight will likely be some combination of bone broth, beef (shank), and veggies.

D: ? Probably some left over Lemon-Artichoke chicken from last night and veggies or some chicken bone broth with chicken, bok choy and mushrooms.
This cooking stuff is becoming fun - and no problem staying under my calorie targets (sometimes too far under...)

Crankin - I bought ox tails from Whole Foods, but can also get them from my grass-fed farmer (though he is out of grass-fed for the year).

I tried to be moderate... I had a glass of Prosecco, shared an arugula and fresh ricotta salad with DH, and had salmon on a bed of braised brussel sprouts/almonds, with fingerling potatoes. I ate half a slice of cornbread, couldn't resist, it's their specialty, since like, 1776.

The "crustless quiche" didn't turn out so well, apparently I prefer frittatas with meat rather than just zucchini and yellow squash. I had to try the recipe once, that was enough.
Today:
B: Last of the mustard glazed roasted chicken thighs, candied carrots with dates, 1 slice bacon
L: will be mustard glazed roasted chicken leg, spinach salad
D: Who knows yet? Grocery shopping planned unless my bike gets too enticing ;)
The mustard glaze method works quite nicely, especially for skinless/boneless chicken which is bland anyway. Also works well for skin on/bone in.

3 hours tennis, 1 hour meeting with folks who may want to start USTA leagues (my second job)

finally got home late afternoon and started a roast
D: couple slices of pork roast cooked with onions, mushrooms, beer gravy, mashed potatoes, and peas, 1 beer

D: went out to a pub. Had one beer, turkey "tips," green beans, rice pilaf (can't remember the last time I ate regular rice), 2 of DH's onion rings, and we split a pumpkin hazelnut cheesecake slice

B: 2 home made waffles, walnuts, cranberries, 1.5 apple turkey sausages, blueberries, strawberries, oranges, coffee
L: on a 33 mile ride had a soy nut butter sandwich on 2 slices of Ezekial raisin bread and a pack of nuts and cranberries, 3/4 bottle of Nuun, one Shot Block

D: Entirely too much. Some of my friends from work hosted a Thanksgiving potluck. So I had turkey, two types of stuffing (vegetarian and sausage-containing), rolls, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes with gravy, mac and cheese, cranberry relish, 3 or 4 goat cheese-stuffed peppers. I ended up going back for seconds on the potatoes (of both types). Dessert was a slice of flourless chocolate cake. Holy carbohydrates, Batman.
Today:
Coffee with cream, pumpkin bread
A couple of jalapeno cheese balls (why do we have those, anyway?)
Lamb soup (cubed lamb, barley, kale) and a roll left from yesterday.

Thanksgiving:

D: Planning on slow roasted pork loin end roast, roasted carrots and parsnips, perhaps some kale chips. One beer, probably.
I've never made a pork roast before so this is going to be interesting! Am braising it at 275 degrees.

How'd the pork turn out? I haven't cooked pork (beyond pork shoulder in the crockpot for pulled pork) before. Did you season it with anything?
I braised it in the oven for 4 hours at 270, it was delish! Well, is, there is still some left in the freezer :) I've a savory seasoning mix that I make myself that I rubbed it with after marinating it overnight with similar seasonings and oil.

D: bone broth simmered with veggies and some beef shank. small banana for dessert.

D: went to old neighbors' new house for dinner... champagne, some delicious cheese (Armenian string cheese), about 5 oz strip steak (DH and I shared one), salad, and a little brown rice with kidney beans. Slice of Key Lime pie

B: sausage/veggie frittata, coffee with cream
1 hour hard group training session
L: last of the roast pork, and remainder of the bacon brussels sprouts
90 minute ride :) 1 banana prior to ride
D: will be roast turkey leg, fennel/parsly salad, and probably one beer

L: cup of tomato soup, an apple
S: handful of nuts, cranberries, chocolate bits

D: went out with friends. Glass of red wine, mixed salad with oil and vinegar, blackened swordfish, sweet potato, broccoli

B: 1 piece coffee cake, coffee
L: homemade chicken noodle soup - yummy; 1 heel of the bread toasted with cheese
S: 1 piece european chocolate from croatia (with hazelnuts of course)
D: went to a party; hostess is a great cook; pork green chili, pinto beans, posole, 1 flour tortilla, 1 piece of pumpkin cheesecake roll, 1 glass red wine.

half hour run/walk on the treadmill
B: egg whites, kale, sprinkling of low fat cheddar, 2 turkey apple breakfast sausages, blueberries and strawberries, coffee
L: salad with lettuce, chicken, corn, red pepper, vinaigrette
S: hummus and slice of Ezekial bread
D: defrosted Paleo chili (meat, no beans), salad, glass of red wine, 2 squares dark chocolate
