    Jersey Fits

My jersey arrived and it fits, unlike last year.
So..........I look forward to seeing everyone in a few weeks.

Am trying to get some time on the pedals so that I won't be the last one on the road.

    So....
Do we have time for a TE training ride before this event?
Perhaps the Peach Tree Loop out of Riley's Lock on the 18th or 25th?

Hmm, not sure, but I need to since I've only been on my road bike one time, for 28 miles. The only day that would work for me is the 18th; I'm doing a 5K on the 19th and the next weekend Zen and I are in NYC.

Ugh. Peach Tree's a much more strenuous ride than Wild Goose How about a nice flat towpath ride?
"How about if we all just try to follow these very simple rules of the road? Drive like the person ahead on the bike is your son/daughter. Ride like the cars are ambulances carrying your loved ones to the emergency room. This should cover everything, unless you are a complete sociopath."

That's specifically why I offered Peach Tree. If you do Peach Tree, the WGC will be gravy.

I haven't heard back from the waiting list for wild goose chase, so I doubt I'll be there. I've got to do a diabetes walk for a cure thingie with my niece on the 25th, but I think I could do peach tree on the 18th.

I'd be up for either a road ride or a C&O ride, but one thing to think about is that our speed differences aren't such an issue on the C&O. I hate to feel like I'm holding you back on road rides.
