I don't know if I even ordered a jersey...I guess not
7, I don't know what time I'll be getting there and I'm bringing a friend. I know she like to kayak so maybe she and I can switch off. I'll talk to her and try to get there reasonably early.

What time are you figuring on arriving in Cambridge?

I looked at last year's thread, and we met at the Wildlife Refuge Visitors Center at 10, then went over to the kayak put-in and were on the water around 11, if I remember correctly. I think we pulled over to the side and had lunch, then were back by 3ish(?) so we could check in to the hotel, shower, rest, and get ready to go to dinner (such as it was). We checked in for the Goose Chase at the high school that afternoon, too, didn't we?
I'd be ok with doing the same, or maybe meeting at 10:30 rather than 10?
I haven't figured out yet whether I'm going 'yakking that Saturday. If there are organized paddles going on, it may be a little crowded out there (not to mention in the parking lot for the put-in). But I'd definitely like to meet everyone for dinner.

Random babblings and some stuff to look at.
I wondered about it being crowded. But the Terry web site says the organized paddles are from 8-10, 11-1, and 5-7, so if we wanted to meet a bit later and start paddling after they've all left, it might work ok. I'd think they'll probably have a bus to take people to the put-ins, so there shouldn't be a lot of extra cars there. Maybe I'll call the Blackwater Padddle and Pedal and ask what their plans are.
My jersey arrived and it fits, unlike last year.
So..........I look forward to seeing everyone in a few weeks.
Am trying to get some time on the pedals so that I won't be the last one on the road.
So....
Do we have time for a TE training ride before this event?
Perhaps the Peach Tree Loop out of Riley's Lock on the 18th or 25th?

Ugh. Peach Tree's a much more strenuous ride than Wild GooseHow about a nice flat towpath ride?
