Also...How many kayaks am I bringing? Zen...are you kayaking with us? I can put you in the yellow boat this time and give you a better paddle to use than that wooden one.

7, I don't know what time I'll be getting there and I'm bringing a friend. I know she like to kayak so maybe she and I can switch off. I'll talk to her and try to get there reasonably early.

I looked at last year's thread, and we met at the Wildlife Refuge Visitors Center at 10, then went over to the kayak put-in and were on the water around 11, if I remember correctly. I think we pulled over to the side and had lunch, then were back by 3ish(?) so we could check in to the hotel, shower, rest, and get ready to go to dinner (such as it was). I haven't figured out yet whether I'm going 'yakking that Saturday. If there are organized paddles going on, it may be a little crowded out there (not to mention in the parking lot for the put-in). But I'd definitely like to meet everyone for dinner.
