I'm confused, han-grrrrl, are you saying you weigh 100 lbs, and you are trying to lose weight? Please say it's not so....reading this, I am a bit concerned about you. I have not followed the whole thread, so please excuse me if I am out of line here! Perhaps you are trying to gain?

Yikes...Hi everyone, I've been M.I.A. for 2 weeks. I was down in La helping my parents remodel their kitchen. Just got back this morning. I gained back the 2 lbs I had lost, but I'm actually relieved that that was all! Down there with my family, I tend not to exercise and to definitely eat and drink a whole lot more than usual! Anyway, I'm back! Can I please be back in on this?? I'll deliver my weigh in tomorrow morning!![]()
Still making progress in the right direction. Down to 202.8 this morning. Slow and steady, but any progress is good. Now the next week will be a challenge. We're off to Devon for the week-end celebrating BF's sister's birthday which will involve lots of food and a cream tea I'm sure. And then next week is my birthday and I will not miss out on birthday cake! But I will try to fit in enough bike rides too.
Happy week-end all!
Well, at least I made it back down to where I started. 180.4. Must start making some real downward progress, tho.
Half-marathon over. Sabbatical year over. It's back to "sacking shirt and oat cakes" as they say here.
Woo Hoo, I'm down to 136.5 lbs this week. Now, there's definitely something wrong if I can't lose another 1.5 lbs. If I can do that by next week, I can modify my goal to lose just a bit more.
I continue to have a hate/hate relationship with the scale even though my clothes continue to fit better and better. I'm at 182.8 this week.
My training is going great though. I rode 89.72 miles this week.

A bicycle does get you there and more.... And there is always the thin edge of danger to keep you alert and comfortably apprehensive. Dogs become dogs again and snap at your raincoat; potholes become personal. And getting there is all the fun. ~Bill Emerson, "On Bicycling," Saturday Evening Post, 29 July 1967
I am the same at 154 which is exactly what I was hoping for. Now I hope it isn't a plateau and that I can begin to slide some more off!
