Replying to myself, because I'm a dork like that.
Today's run felt good. Minor hip nagging, I describe it as "annoying" more than "painful." I had a super low heart rate, and the weather was perfect. I had to push harder than normal. I wonder if that's the new bike taking it easier on my legs on the bike days, or if I was just "on" today. Some days you got it!
My swim workout on Wednesday night ate my sunburn (I can find no better description), exposing tender flesh that wasn't ready to be exposed. All the moisturizing body wash and lotion in the world couldn't save me from the chlorine. I'm happy for clothes that don't chafe, but that part of your shoulder (on top of the shoulder/bicep, basically) is hard to avoid.
On the bike tomorrow... back to running Sunday, running the half marathon. They changed the course and I think it's much much more flat and much less on the IM course (unless you run the full marathon, which is not happening). I think I'll be finding myself adding some time with my doggie in the afternoon/evening.
