Hi Everyone,
I've been checking out the thread and using it as encouragement for myself. For the most part, I'm pretty content with where I've been at. I'm a size 12--sexy and curvyI ran a marathon this last fall and I'd like to run another two or three this year. I want to improve my time and I figure one of the best ways to help me out is to drop some weight.
I could use some input. Right now, I weigh 170lbs. I do pilates for 30 minutes 3-4 days a week, run 45 to 60 min 3 to 4 days and ride my trainer for 45 to 60 minutes 3-4 days a week. I usually carry my daughter hiking or snow-shoeing for 1.5 to 2 hrs once a week as well. Sunday is my rest day. Phew.
Normally I eat 2400 calories a day. But, as I am trying to lose weight, I've cut it back to 1500-1800: 50% carbs, 25% pro, 25% fat.
I have lost no weight. In fact, I've gained 1.5 lbs. I also have not lost any inches. My jeans are snug![]()
Any ideas on how to get things jump started? I'm concerned about cutting my calories any more because when I do that, I don't have the energy to do my workouts. I could use some encouragement.
Thanks everyone!
