I'm going in for an outpatient/general anesthesia procedure this afternoon. Recovery will suck, but this has dragged on long enough.

My gosh! I haven't checked the posts for a few days and am very sorry that you have to have surgery. Yeah, it makes sense to just do the surgery thing and get it over with. hopefully you'll be back to your regular self by the time the weather is so very nice. Unless you live in California or somewhere where it's nice all the time. Then i guess it double sucks! Hope your recovery is fast. Being in shape is a good thing. Good luck and all.

    Irulan,

What do they say for recovery time?

Hope everything went well! Take it easy and let that family of your wait on you while you have the opportunity!

    Hi Irulan - sorry, I've missed so much with being away , I didn't know you weren't 100%. :0(

Anyway, best of luck with the surgery. If you're going to be laid up for a while then send someone out to get you some nice bike porn. I'm sure that'll speed up your recovery.

PS I'm sure you all know but just in case anyone's concerned - bike porn doesn't involve naked people and you certainly don't need to be over 18 to buy it - just lost of nice shiney bicycles...mmmm

    Sorry to hear

Hope you feel better soon, Irulan. I had to have outpatient/scopic thing done on my bladder once. UGH. And I know its nothing like a kidney stone.

Rest up and drink alot of water.
