My road bike found her name yesterday!

I sometimes name my bikes and sometimes don't, depending on what inspiration strikes. Yesterday, my new-to-me-this-spring Trek Pilot found her name. I was zipping down the bike path and had to stop for a photo with these gorgeous morning glories. It struck me that she is morning-glory blue, or very close to it. In person the colors looked even closer than in the photo.

    So, meet Gloria!

Oh, very nice. Morning glories were always my favourite as a child. Pretty bike!

Nice way of picking the name!! ....I had the 9 year old daughter of a friend come up to me and start a conversation about my bike and biking that lasted for around 30 minutes. Her name was Stella so that's that bikes name.

Pretty pictures. I love the blue morning glories. In this area, they are all white for some reason.

    Welcome to TE, Gloria!

I'm the same way about naming inanimate objects. Sometimes the name comes to me, sometimes it doesn't.

I'm probably buying a Trek Allant tomorrow, it's a very un-pretty beige... I'm thinking of calling her tapioca.

We have a beige cat named Cappucino, Cappy for short. Alternatively Café au Lait or Latte?

My honey suggested Cafe au Lait, I laughed and said it's just beige. I like Cappy though, great name for a kitty.
