I sometimes name my bikes and sometimes don't, depending on what inspiration strikes. Yesterday, my new-to-me-this-spring Trek Pilot found her name. I was zipping down the bike path and had to stop for a photo with these gorgeous morning glories. It struck me that she is morning-glory blue, or very close to it. In person the colors looked even closer than in the photo.
So, meet Gloria!

Nice way of picking the name!!
....I had the 9 year old daughter of a friend come up to me and start a conversation about my bike and biking that lasted for around 30 minutes. Her name was Stella so that's that bikes name.

I'm probably buying a Trek Allant tomorrow, it's a very un-pretty beige... I'm thinking of calling her tapioca.

We have a beige cat named Cappucino, Cappy for short. Alternatively Café au Lait or Latte?
