    Unhappy I miss CorsairMac

CorsairMac's last post was on September 20th. She said she'd be gone for 2-1/2 weeks. Yeah, yeah... I hope she's having a great time. But selfishly, I miss her posts on this board! Can't she get an internet connection in Hungary?

The place just isn't the same without her!

Me too, it was almost cold enough for her to start razzing me about the weather. Hope she gets back soon.

I think she would love the red short boys.

Her posts always make me laugh.

Yeah, doesn't she greet the newbies? Who's greeting the newbies? Who approved her vacation time? She can't leave.

She'll have a lot of catching up to do, should we come up with some kind of fake thread? What could possibly happen while she's away?

    Roflmao

What an awesome welcome back!! yet again this board ROCKS and ya'll are so very special!

I had a Great time, nope didn't meet anyone over there although there was this one guy............................*sigh*
Anyway - got in at 12:30 AM Sat morning and had to do a major church service at 11 am which lasted 3 hrs, then grocery shopping as I had No food in the house.
Sun I had 2 services to do then a movie to catch up - the movie crowd waited for me to get back to watch a sci-fi movie released while I was in Hungary so what else could I do but go?? (oh the hardships!)

Needless to say I did Not kill either my father or my sister but I DID formulate several plots while I was there. The country was amazing - not at all what I expected. Very contradictory both in lifestyle and architecture. Ate like a pig, drank like a fish, gained 7 lbs and missed all of you very much.
Although Hungary has vastly improved their telecommunications I could NOT get a call out of the country or find an Internet connection at any of the hotels. Heck 1 hotel we stayed in didn't even have a phone in the room - but I had TV and a minibar!! wheeeeeeeeee

Anyhooo - I'm not Even gonna try and catch up all the posts. *waves to all the newbies* hello anyone that joined while I was gone, I hope everyone is doing very well and Surly?--------------it got Cold in New Mexico while I was gone: as in the high today is only going to be 59 if it makes it (which so far it hasn't) WAAAAAHAAAAAA the Noive of this state - doing that to me while I was out of the country!! Didn't stop me from riding my bike to work - but I was so cold this morning when I woke up I was Seriously looking at the winter stuff!

PS: I got my BJ jersey while I was away but no Amico Veloci jersey? of course it's too cold now to wear SS but I would Anyway just to have braggin rights!!
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand, strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming: "Yeah Baby! What a Ride!"

Glad to have you back! We all missed you...

And welcome back to the fall. Bummer. We are having a wet and cool week here in the northeast too, no riding. My bikes told me they don't like low 50s and wet!

    Yay!

    She's back! She's back!

Hi CM - great to see your name up there again on the "new posts" listing! Let us know if/where you post pictures of your trip anywhere! Glad you had the good time, and there was no patricide and /or sororicide ( correct word?)

BTW - I'll be back in Santa Fe the weekend of the 22nd/23rd of Oct, but it will be a whirlwind visit - probably won't be ale to do more than wave hello in your general direction from the airport!
