It's Halloween. My favorite holiday. The parade in my neighborhood just finished up, the fire truck has gone back to the firehouse, the marching band has boarded the school bus and gone.
I missed it all.

Look at that band! All in step and they have diagonals! Okay, former band director here. That's the first thing I noticed.

DH was travelling last Friday evening and drove through a small, rural town. The entire community was at the city park, having a a "trunk or treat". He said it was really cute and while tempted, wasn't going to stop for candy.
BTW, my sister gave me a pair of gargoyles just like the one in your last picture. One sits on DD's windowsill, staring out into the community.Last edited by Lifesgreat; 11-05-2008 at 12:32 PM.
