    Random Observation Thread

Having an MRI is like lying in a steel garbage can while someone bangs on the outside with rubber mallets.

    Excellent observation!

Another observation - Having the tech turn a broken limb every which way to xray it to see if it's broken seems counterproductive.

My acupuncturist said I need to rest more and buy new shoes. My DSIL said that sounds like a contradiction.

Why is it that whenever I'm upstairs working, something I need to finish the job is downstairs?

Whenever our cat Nina eats grass outside, she makes a pointed effort to puke it up INSIDE, usually heading straight for an area rug.

Is a random q related to Tobin's q? Market valuations can indeed seem random.

Cody does this while he's on our bed. He'll lay facing us for about 5 minutes, enough time to get his head scratched, and then do a 180 to face the door. We've discussed flipping the bed in the room so that the door is behind (rather than in front of) us, just to see what he'll do
