    New Madone Pics...

As promised, her is SR's new Madone. It's a 5.1 WSD Triple. We (I) added Crosstop brakes, Flightdeck, Tacx cages, Fizik tape, and Ritchey SPD pedals. It came with Race wheels, but I'm not using my Race-X-Lites so a nice little upgrade there. Just under 19lbs as pictured. It rides like a dream. I normally ride a 60, but I could even get a sense for the ride on her 52 - Awesome!

That's one sexy bike. Can you remove the picture before Silver sees it?

Very Nice Bike!!! I'm curious which cross-top brakes you added?

Thanks all, she's is hitting the books, I'll pass the word along.

We tried both the smaller and oversized crosstop levers, the oversized fit the Bontrager bar better. Just the standard levers, although I did see the carbon set. I tried to talk her out of them, but oh well. I also would have liked to see her on a compact double, but the Ultegra triple shifts nicely.

She still wants to try the Specialized reach wedges, so need to pick up a set to try.

    Thanks again

I use those Specialized shims. They are great. I have stubby little fingers. They made a huge difference.

Nice bike...yeah, those new Madones ride really nice!
She would still need shims on the WSD?
The Ultegra SL compact crankset would be a nice upgrade, too! I love mine - shifting is great...better than the FSA SLK-compact on my other bike.
