    Meant no disrespect......

If you knew me, which you don't......you would know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that I sincerely meant no disrespect....

And that my feelings are hurt greatly that one might think that I did.

I was up in the middle of the night and just taking a moment to appreciate my cycling buddy. Something I don't do enough of.

Goodness gracious! what is wrong with people?! Of course your post was a joke, and there is no need to apologize.

Silver, no need to apologize. I think it is absolutely wonderful that Mr. Silver encourages you to ride and that you both enjoy your time on your bikes.

You guys are the reason I started posting. Mrs. is talking classes until April and has basically no online time, so I keep taps of what is happening. I appreciate both of you.

Ah, I didn't mean your post, Silver. I meant the one that replied to yours...

Robyn, I know you didn't mean my post. But thanks for saying so.

Angry I've pondered responding to what happened and decided to do it

There are offensive things that are said offensively
    and
There are unoffensive things that are heard offensively.

Is the sayer responsible for the receiver's hearing? Sometimes, but usually not.

Silver is a non-confrontational person. She would never intentionally upset anyone. So, she removed a thread based on the perception of a single person who has chosen to process anything related to me as being offensive.

Personally, I think it's time for the person that hurt Silver's feelings to apologize directly to her. I'd appreciate someone passing that message on to her since she's made it clear that she ignores me simply because I'm a man. If she wants to ignore me, then encourage her to ignore Silver as well because we're a package deal...and we're here to stay.

In life, people either like me or they don't, and I accept that. But NO ONE DISLIKES SILVER and she didn't deserve that attack.

I didn't see the original post but I can't imagine Silver posting anything even close to offensive. I enjoy Mr Silver's posts and find it quite refreshing that a man can be so respectful (and witty) in a predominantly womens' forum. There are probably many men that lurk and do not post here and as long as they play nice everything goes smoothly. I would suggest that whoever finds Mr. Silver's presence here inappropriate also put Silver on ignore because she has every right to talk about him as do all of us regarding our significant other.

I like the Silver's. They have both been very supportive and insightful. And I would not block them at all. And Mr Silver has always followed the rules.

I second what cindyloo said. Granted I don't know Silver personally but from my time spent here with TE I have never seen any offensive posts by Silver. I welcome any member, female or male that offers such great insight and ideas as the Silvers do. There are some people that need to have their " women only" sites and I can respect that but please try not to hurt or disrespect others that have done no harm.
