    Halloween is coming....

Do you do anything for Halloween?

Kidless DH and I decorate our yards pretty scary for Halloween night, with strobe lights, flaming torches and a creepy/scary sound track and give out waaaaaaaayyyy to much candy.

Today I pulled all the Halloween stuff out of storage and put it all in the rec room. Check this out:

Yes *all* of those totes have Halloween stuff in them!

Reminds me... I need to pull my totes out tomorrow.

This will make you laugh... I have color coded totes. My halloween stuff is in black and orange totes, my fall/thanksgiving generic stuff is in a brown tote, and my christmas is in red and green. Makes it easy to find the correct holiday when I'm shuffling through the garage.
But also kinda scary that I think something out like that! lol

RM, I admire your organizational finesse! I solved the dilemma by putting the Xmas stuff under the stairs in the house and the Halloween stuff (which takes up at least 4 times as much space) in the shed

Actually, I love the idea of the creepy guy riding a bike in your yard for holloween! But, you may want to get a $15 bike at a yard sell for the purpose.

I need to pull my stuff out too - it's in orange and black totes too. My neighborhood has a parade on Halloween. (It pays to have a bunch of policemen living here..) We close off two blocks, the local highschool marching band comes over, and all the kids, with police escort march down the street. They are met by a policeman who hands out goodies, then they come back down the street. It's tons of fun - adults and dogs dress up too.

    Here's Chloe from last year.

Snap - That sounds like so much FUN!!!!!

I love Halloween but there's no kids in my apartment complex so no parade or trick or treaters.
