You ladies across the pond will have to keep us updated -- OLN isn't showing the Vuelta!![]()
There's a Spanish language station - TVE that is going to show it.

Are you serious!! Looks like I'll be sending OLN a disparaging email. I was really looking forward to my cycling fix!Originally posted by snapdragen

For those of you who arn't getting to watch La Vuelta here's how things are shaping up.
Stage One was a team time trial U.S Postal won. (hurrah)
Stage Two was won by Alessandro Petacchi (ITA)(Fassa Bortolo)
Stage Three Alejandro Valverde (SPA) (Kelme)
Stage Four Alessandro Petacchi (as before)
and today (which I missed)
Stage Five Denis Menchov (RUS) (Illes Balears)
It's not got too exciting yet, the stages are very flat, they're even riding along motorways.
OLN will show it on October 27th. Of course we'll know the out come by then but I guess later is better than not seeing it at all.
And thanks for the updates Margaret! How is Tyler Hamilton doing? I heard that his wrist is bothering him? Sue
Velonews and CyclingNews both have daily reports and photos.
Floyd Landis (!) has been in the golden jersey the last few days, but Heras has been making his move. Not sure how Tyler did today... he won the time trial 2 days ago, then bonked on the next stage.
Tyler Hamilton is still hanging in there. He's no quitter (remember when he broke his collar bone in the Tour de France) What a guy. I guess his motto is never say die. You've just got to admire him.
A great place to keep up with La Vuelta events is
