    Giro d'Italia withdrawals

i think http://cycling.tv is the greatest thing since the derailleur! being able to watch LIVE RACES from ANOTHER CONTINENTwith great commentators is amazing to me. so now that the three weeks of the giro are over and the tour de france doesn't start for another whole month i'm having withdrawals. good thing i have the dauphine (won by levi leipheimer last year) and tour de suisse coming up in the meantime.
does anybody else watch the pro tour?

RAAM's starting up pretty soon. I found the coverage of this from the RAAM website helped fill the gap between the Giro and the Tour.

I never miss an opportunity to gawk at pro cyclists' calves. My partner and I have been known to haunt the start gate at the Tour de Georgia time trial, held in Chickamauga in recent years, for that very purpose. There the boys are, poised in the chute with calves flexed in glorious still life… OK, I fear I've slipped into cyclerotica territory. Sorry.

I watched it every weekend on Versus. Do they have live feeds on cycling.tv for free? Every time I've been on that site, I've gotten so confused about the different "channels" and what you can get for free... So, were the live feeds you were watching early in the morning?

So I was cracking up about "Leaky Gas" the whole time I watched the Giro yesterday!

Liquigas has a w in it, doesn't it? lol.

I watch all the big tours on Eurosport.
Cheaper than a psychologist, I say.
Also suffering withdrawl symptoms after the end of the Giro (seeing pink before my eyes for example!)

I had so much fun coming into work each morning and going right to velonews.com. I really enjoy their live text updates...the guys there are funny. Then with about an hour left in the race, I went to cyclingfans.com for the gazzetta.it live video cast of the end of the race. ....I'd minimize the window to the size of the video and watch it while I was working

I certainly felt empty when I came to work yesterday and there was no Giro to watch Though we have the Dauphine next week!

At least I'm not the only one waiting for the TdF to start! It was great to be able to watch the Giro on the internet!
It's all about the journey (my reason for riding slower)

Which is the perfect time for me to plug Team Beat Cancer! Thanks for the set-up MP.

I'm the crew chief for a two man relay team! Our racers, George Vargas and Rick Schulze will be supported by a crew of twelve. Three of us solely on rider support and the rest will be our driver, navigator pool. We're getting down to the wire, there's so much to do this week!

Be sure to check out our website and blog. I am George's primary support person so I mirror all of his movements, in the follow vehicle when he's riding and in the RV taking care of him when he's off the bike...sleeping when he's sleeping, etc. I should have time to blog while he's riding, so check in everyday for new pictures from the road!

I got addicted to watching cycling a few days into the TDF last year, soon after I started biking. They are all so cute! I even started to get fond of Bob Roll (can't believe I just said that)! Watching the Giro d'Italia was a blast. Yes - Leaky Gas, how funny! Watching them is such an inspiration to me, I can just see how they use the muscles I need to try to get. I hope Oscar Perreiro reappears for the TDF.....
