Um, why do you think they should have a team kit?
They're also just going through a re-design of their logo.

I don't understand, that teamestrogen does not have there own team cycling apparel...only the shirt ok I saw that, but what about shorts. Good quality, funky colors and acceptable prices...
The prices of the cycling shorts I see are just getting to pricey... hhm I wounder what others have to say...

why not.
Performacebike, Nashbar and others sell their own brand, pretty good quality and not so high in price.

Well, there's a solid business reason: "why not?"
I won't buy another Performance or Nashbar product. Maybe they have improved but years ago when there wasn't much else out there I had way too many pairs of shorts disintegrate and I've seen too many pedals fall off and other parts fail. TE has some very reasonably and competitively priced shorts from quality manufacturers, and most importantly, the staff on the phone use the products and are knowledgeable -- completely the opposite of the Performance and Nashbar. TE provides the absolute best in customer service. You get what you pay for.

I have a couple of pricey pearl izumi shorts, after 2 month the material started to break, so much for quality. I did not have any problems with pefermance bike shorts and my husband got some many years ago and he likes them very much. He is the pearl izumi fan... I guess everybody has different experiences.
Well, maybe I bike to much...![]()
But thanks for your oppinion

There are shorts from $30 to $200 in TE's shop. That's a pretty good range. And they certainly don't sell for more than the respectable B&M shops. Considering the quality of the customer service, that's as good as it gets for me.
I agree that price isn't everything. I have $54CDN Mountain Equipment Coop shorts that I like a lot more than my $200 PI bibs. This being said, it's the exception, not the rule. Your mileage may vary (literally).
I would be curious to see a new TE cycling jersey, especially if it corresponded to a TE sponsored women's team. But that might not be within the reach of TE's business for the moment.
I'd prefer to keep the TE people busy doing what they do best - find and offer good products in the market - instead of spreading themselves trying to design their own stuff.
They used to have shorts - basic black with the old TE logo. I had a pair, I'm not sure they survived my last "purge".
I LOVE TE customer service -- well worth any "extra cost" if you need info!! Actually, I feel TE's prices are VERY competitive and I will gladly pay the price because, as stated previously, their customer service is THE BEST!!!
In fact, I am saving up to buy a couple more pairs of TE shorts -- no NOT TE logo shorts -- but shorts recommended by TE staff. I bought 1 pair and they were absolutely 100% correct on size, fit, and style. I want another pair (or 2), but must save-up because quality is NOT cheap and I can appreciate that because I enjoy quality and professionals who support that quality. TE is the best!!![]()

Please also keep in mind, TE does not add on crazy shipping costs which Performance does do unless you pay an annual fee to become a Preferred Customer. I believe that is "$25.00" annually.

A couple of years ago I called performance to buy a giro helmet for my son. The lady pronounced it GYYYRO (hard I, VERY hard). I about bust out laughing. Yeah clearly working the phones there is just a job....
I agree with the others that TE should keep doing what they do best. I trust their judgement, and the customer service is beyond compare. And the shipping is so very reasonable. I like the wide diversity of the products they carry. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
