Thumbs up My First Metric Century

I have been lurking for some time now, but I could use some encouragement and words of wisdom. I am riding my first metric century, 66 miles, in the Spring Fling. My DH will ride with me the whole way and I plan to draft behind him in the headwinds. I am so excited and sooo nervous. I have not trained much, but I rode 35 miles last weekend and a 45 in the fall and have been spinning all winter. The course is mostly flat with rolling hills, so it is not a difficult ride. Wish me luck!

It is TOMORROW in Sulphur Springs, TX. The weather will be a high of 76 and winds will be 10-15 from the SE with possible gusts up to 20mph, but a good portion of the ride is all north, so the wind will be nice!

good luck and enjoy it. My first metric century was a surprise to me, went on a 30mile club ride, ended up lost (everybody with cure sheets) and turned out to me 62 miles hehehe
