I gained a pound this week. Sigh. It's only one pound but it's the wrong direction. I will do bettre this week. I promise myself. Can't exercise this week though because I hurt my back so will have to diet strictly instead.

My weight has decreased about 2.5 lbs. in spite of no running for almost 2 months. More proof that I'm losing muscle mass

I gained 4 pounds on vacation over Thanksgiving - but weighed myself this morning and I'm back to my regular weight. Yahoo! Now I can have an occasional beer!

I just started my program on Sunday, so I don't have a new weight for this week yet. So far, things are going well and I'm super pleased with my new trainer!! She's really challenging my thinking and I like that.

I lost 2.75 pounds this week. I'm surprised, because I wasn't showing a loss on my gym's scale. That brings me to 25.5 pounds lost total so far.

WOW!!! I am so impressed with how much you guys are losing. May I join the weekly weigh-ins? I have been trying so hard to lose weight for about 2 months now and haven't had much sucess. I really need some sort of accountability and encouragement. I am in the process of trying to get a bike, but I am still trying to decide what kind and all that stuff. I have taken spinning classes and stuff but generally don't have too much time. Is it cool if I post my weight weekly with you guys?

I don't know at what time you go to the gym, but it might depend on the time at which you weight yourself.

If I weight myself in the afternoon or evening, I'm usually 4 pounds heavier than first-thing in the morning. I've often read that one should weight oneself always at the same time, probably in the early morning before breakfast...

First thing in the morning seems to produce the most consistent results, especially if you weigh yourself after you've been to the bathroom but before eating.

18 pounds down so far, 12 pounds to go, so I've passed the half way mark.

I'm just getting started AGAIN myself. I kind of gave up the last two weeks, but it's time to jump back on the wagon. I put my binder together with my calorie counter and weight chart. I love watching the line graph go down as I lose weight. I also do increments of 1/4 lb instead of a whole on the chart, that way I can really see the progress.
