What's that sound????? Is it the sound of arm warmers and long sleeve jerseys calling your name????

I'll be getting arm warmers for a friend, a second jersey for me, and I just got the check from the Danville parking lot guy (the story SK never told!), so that's another shortsleeve jersey...
Keep calm and carry on...

What do you think the chances of these arriving in my hands by August 18th are? I really want to wear it in my first century!
BTW...I'm going to put in my order as soon as I get Tiffanie's sizing. I'm buying her an AV jersey for her birthday present.![]()
OK Brandy, since this is the second time you asked, I'll take a crack at it.Originally Posted by Brandy

Voler has given them an estimated shipment date, but the actual honest to goodness date that the order is shipped out from Voler is completely out of snapdragen and sadiekate's control.
It could be shipped out the beginning of the week of August 7th, or it could be shipped out the end of the week of August 7th (which would be August 11th). Or, it could be shipped out later. Stuff happens.
Furthermore, the order has to make it's way to yellow in Salt Lake City. So if the shipment departs from Voler near the end of the week of August 7th (that is, closer to August 11th), it might arrive at Casa Yellow well into the following week, if not later.
Plus, once the shipment arrives at Casa Yellow, yellow must find the time to re-package and to ship out every single order to each and every person who has placed an order. That adds another variable to the equation.
Bottom line, I think the chances of you receiving your jersey by August 18th are slim.
I hope this answers your question.

I was kind of wondering that when yellow and SK's friend HotRodd rode up behind me and yelled "Amici Veloci my @ss!"Originally Posted by snapdragen

Thanks Jo...I didn't see anyone answer it the first time, so I thought I'd throw it out there again.Originally Posted by jobob

Earlier in this thread, AG (post # 51) and I (post #78) both discussed how we thought the arm warmers run small.Originally Posted by tlkiwi
So, unless your arms are very slender, I suggest you order arm warmers in a size medium.

OK. I'm going to get a Windshell Vest. Unless someone tells me I can't because not enough people are getting that. Let me know--if I can't get that, I'll get a sleeveless jersey. Thanks, ladies.
PS, fishdr, will you post or pm me where I can get that helmet? I want it for my niece's 3rd b-day. Here's what my sister said when I forwarded her the picture and asked if Maya would like it:
She actually "yovs yittow piggies", so I think she'll be very happy with it!

I put all kinds of helpful (I hope) sizing info on the order form.

Shortsleeve group includes short sleeve jerseys (duh) , sleeveless jerseys, windvests and thermal vests. See "Short Sleeve Options" on the order form.
The long sleeve group includes long sleeve jerseys in either SQPro fabric or a heavier winter weight lycra, wind jackets and thermal jackets.

Cool, I was wondering if he'd follow through. Since you were a partner in crime and have a major role, feel free to tell the story.Originally Posted by bikerz

Jersey Count
5 Arm warmers
6 Long sleeve
28 Short sleeve
We've met the minimum for SS jerseys. 5 more armwarmers, 4 more long sleeve.

CRUD! Why is this decision so hard? Like, what if I get a jacket, which is a darned good idea in Chicago, but then, one day, a miracle happens, and I'm riding in California (loved your pronounciation, SK, I most certainly heard your esteemed gov'nr shining through!), and all the TE girls are there and they all have their sleeveless jerseys, I can't exactly wear my jacket then, can I, and won't I be sorry I didn't get a jersey, cuz then I won't be one of the girls, and I want to look cool in the pictures like they do....

The thermal jacket is soft and warm, and per the style maven, good après-bike wear.
