@Bike Chick: do your legs feel sore in an injury sort of way or from inadequate rest? When I was riding 5k miles a year, my legs would sometimes feel chronically heavy and tired. That's when o knew I was just momentarily overtrained. I hope that's all you are dealing with, although even that would be a bummer with a marathon around the corner. Good luck with your 20 miler. I can only dream of such distances at this point. If I can get past this current issue, I might consider actually setting a half marathon goal for next year, but my primarily goal is much more modest. I just want to stick with something long enough to get back in better shape.

@Limewave: you are fast, girl. I was reading some older race/running threads a while back. Some were from you when you first started competing. You have gotten so much faster over the years. It's impressive.
