Adorable and beautiful! They sound like they are adjusting well to your home and their new pampered pet lifestyle.

Congrats on your new babies! DH and I adopted a kitten not long after we lost one of adult cats last summer. The kitten has brought us much joy and helped mend our hearts. I hope you experience the same.

they're both adorable!!! Congrats on the newest additions to your family.

We adopted quickly after putting down our lab. The golden was terribly sad and whiny, and we missed having another dog around. I think we value our pets as companions more than we realize, and when they're gone the void they leave is enormous. We never replace them, but we just give love to one more animal who needs a forever home. They need us as much as we need them.

Congrats on your new babies- they are the cutest kitties ever!

And I wonder why black cats are adopted less often than other colors? I think they're super cute!!!

I love black cats, they look so sleek. Beautiful creatures, we had one growing up named Ink Spot, she was a dainty little manx mix. Of course my lucky number is 13, I am not superstitious. Apparently black dogs are also hard to adopt, the reason I have heard is they don't stand out as much at the shelters in their cages.

duh!! Never even thought about superstitions (obviously I don't believe in any).
My mom had three cats- two of them were black and although I'm deathly allergic to them- they were the prettiest and sweetest cats ever.

    People are dumb!!

And yes- would love to see more pictures of them!!!

The tortishell girl I had in Santa Barbara was a stealthy hunter of avocados from the neighbors' tree. She'd carry her prey into the house, peel off the peel in tiny bits into a scary little black pile, eat the meat, and then chase the pit around rattling on the floors.

Oooh, she was so fat, everyone thought she was pregnant, but you never saw a shinier coat!

    Happy kitties to you!
Each day is a gift, that's why it is called the present.
