A little good stuff would be nice for my nephew. And some warm fuzzy comfort. He's had to learn early that people are irresponsible, and their actions can lead to their death. But to then just have a friend die quietly during the night for no apparent reason really sucks.

I love you and I want you... maybe not for my cross country ride, but surely for my forthcoming racing debut. CAAD 10, is it ok to want to buy two bikes in on year? Surely this would not be wise, but I'm torn!

Dear weather--
Please make up your mind. Either rain, or don't, and none of this wishy-washy stuff. (And while you're at it, can you cool off for a while and take those thunderstorms out of the forecast for this weekend? I want to be able to ride...) At this rate, I won't be able to get out until Monday or Tuesday, when it will be 90 degrees. WAH!

GRUMP. I didn't go out because you've been forecasting t-storms all day today. I could have sneaked in a shortish ride this morning before all these clouds and the wind picked up.

Dear body/brain--
I know there's a lot going on, but I'd appreciate if you'd let me sleep more than 6 hours a night. It's getting wearing.
