Although this isn't bike related, my husband has stepped out of his comfort zone to support me on an issue that happened recently. I admire the depth of his commitment to me, and never have I felt so loved even though I am going through an extremely stressful time right now. He has proven his love for me, even though he was not asked to have to do that. that man loves me. Sorry to gush on so.

This is probably too wierd for some gals here..but he voluntarily offers to check with and chat up really romantic stuff.....area rugs, furniture casters, cleaners...

and we're skyping, chatting all along.

Every evening. We each run /bike home and get on..the internet, delay supper for a few hrs.

Over the years, depending where I worked, he has biked to my workplace or an agreed place halfway and waited for me in rain, slushy snow to join him with my bike after work. Other employees would comment on this to me..

    And more ...

Oh, I don't even know where to start.
when I wanted to go to Italy the first time, well, i didn't even think about it. I had no money. He got a bonus. I got to go to Italy
Every single day he does something completely awesome, like coming back into the house for a kiss before he leaves for work. Or he hides chocolate in my panniers. Or he shows up to say hi when I'm at a banquet near his office. I won't bore you guys... I really could go on and on forever.
Oh yeah, he baked a pie just for me right before he went on his 400k bike ride. (PEACH AND CHERRY)

that's how I feel about my DH- I'm one quirky, odd, flighty, gal and he's always just nodding and smiling. I'm thankful he puts up with me.

My DH made me dark chocolate w/toffee bits and bought me a couple of six packs of excellent microbrews and a bike basket (for my beach cruiser) for my birthday last week.

Definitely a keeper (and I've kept him for nearly 26 years now)!
