He just told me it really depends on how they feel. :P He's so subtle and shy.
Ugh. I'm supposed to be doing homework and don't "feel like it".If it weren't due tomorrow I would SO be blowing it off.

You are amazingly disciplined!
Great that you weren't in pain! my sitbones are fairly sore today, but not too bad since I kept it to the 6 miles for the first ride. Next one will be another 6 or maybe 10 miles.
But really my main goal is pretty realistic- to simply use my bike more often on errands into town and back- oour hill going home is only 1/4 mile but steep, and it works my legs out pretty well.

Yeah I hear ya. I'm sad that commuting and cycling for errands just doesn't work for me where I live. In another life, I will live in a small town and be able to walk or ride to everything... Sigh....
At any rate, I have to be disciplined right now - I'm training for a Half Ironman on June 5 and I have a lot of work to do. I've been riding the trainer on and off since January, but nothing more than 90 minutes a couple times a week. It was big difference getting out and riding the roads for a change...

Happy Birthday KG!!

Nice to see some old-timers popping their heads in here again. Hi X, Kit, Pax!
My latest keeping-me-too-busy thing is organizing 2 teams of 10 for a local canoe relay race on Apr 30. I've done this race with my company for many years, and decided to put together an all-women's team this year with a women's outdoor organization I belong to. There has been only 1 team in the women's division of this race, and I thought that was sad, so now there will be competition. It seem that lots of people will join a race if you tell them that they are guaranteed to finish in the top 3! I had 21 people signed up, registered 2 team of 10, and am now struggling to replace those who have dropped out. But it's all coming together. We had a great practice on the river last Sunday with 9 team members paddling.
