Last year we had trouble staying up past about 10:30, even with friends, so this year we tried to occupy our time.
We made fresh pasta in the new kitchen aid pasta press maker dealie that a friend got, ate that with clams and a white wine sauce, then made more fresh pasta to dry. After that, made madeleines, which took us to 2010, when we toasted. We made it, hooray!

Ate our madeleines with nutella (YUM) and headed home around 2am.
Today, pancake breakfast with more friends, their tradition. Tasty vanilla bean with a little poppy seed pancakes, even. Yum. Later we had some fresh pasta and mushrooms with havarti, tasty! For dinner, back to normal, with tacos (which I eat on a plate without a shell anyway).
Thinking about making homemade ravioli tomorrow. I don't usually eat this much pasta, but having it fresh just makes you want to have it fresh.
