Weird question about Kansas City

Once, I was in Greenville Mississippi...and the water was brown. The placard on my hotel vanity said:

If you're wondering why the water is brown,
it's the deep well aquifers under our town.
You can bathe and drink without fear
Cause no one lives longer then the folks around here.

Greenville, Mississippi was claiming to have a longer than usual life expectancy? Kind of funny, given that the whole state of Mississippi is ranked 50th in life expectancy overall (but it could be worse--D.C. was 51st).
