My favorite episode is the one with Robert Redford as Death. That one like NEVER comes on. Who remembers it?

And I'd better not show anything about June Foray or Mel Blanc to DH. He'd be going on in voices for days. He claims that when he was 7 years old he used to amuse his older relatives with his dead-on Louis Armstrong impression. I believe it, too. And as for the music, when we were dating, he made me a compilation tape that included a Bugs Bunny soundtrack (Carl Stalling). This was in the antiquated 1990s when you couldn't just download that sort of thing from YouTube... he had it on CD and everything.

Damn, you're right. It's all been wiped clean off. I have spare copies of the pictures on my computer of course, but I am really bummed out that all the elaborate accompanying story descriptions I wrote for each adventure are now just totally GONE.

That is really a downer for me, I put my heart and soul into those little scraps of literature.

If only I had had warning I could have tracked them down and saved the texts on my computer. I'll have to see if I can find 'anything' on the Wayback machine, but all the multiple trails of links to other defunct pages will pose a big problem there.

work has started a bit off. the first 3 people in the lab didn't know how to turn the lights on (Including me) it seems our new test engineer figured out a new way to turn them off, so we all sat here in the dark until he got here.

Raleighdon is home, so I got to see his new "gold" medal. oooooooooooooo

I tried last night. Google has part of the thread cached, but the way back machine doesn't seem to have actually archived the threads - just the main pages

I was really shocked it just disappeared. Was it a glitch? Was it deleted? It if was deleted, that seems really odd to me. Did something offensive get posted? Just curious....

it was deleted by mutual agreement with the thread starter and the adminstration here. There was personal stuff i guess.

So many of us had personally meaningful things on that thread, it would have been nice to get a 48 hour warning or something, so we could have each gone in and saved certain personal posts that meant a lot to each of us individually.

Can we get a second chance so we can each have a chance to save a few personal things off that 'historic' thread?
Sort of like when your house catches on fire and you get one minute to grab a few precious things on your way out the door...

I had the worst mtn bike ride ever last night. I have no idea what planet I was on but somehow things just didn't quite click in my head. I had to stop & ponder my thoughts as I was getting frustrated.

I was ok at the beginning then something just went *poof*. My legs were fine!

I had to get that out of my system before the 12hr on Saturday

If you can spare any EPO butterflies, clear head, focus etc on the weekend, it would be appreciated.

I have another AGHGHGHGGHGHGH to do with work but need to actually do some. URGH..

How are you feeling these days? I wanted to give you some support in the thread where you mentioned those icky shakes returning, but had no idea what to tell you! I hope that everything improves & your neurologist will be able to assist in finding a reasonable health improvement plan!

I will be looking for a new job at the end of January. To make a long story short, one of our PA's is leaving to study full time & our admin team has to shuffle things around. Since they can't say when they'll find a replacement, the company won't let me go part time.

My boss is totally cool about everything & we've been discussing when to throw my cv out to the market. Hey, we even had a peek at a few job sites!

The excitement never ends
