Jeez, get a load of that seductive Pearl look. What a riot.

    New member of the household

Meet Sagan, the newest member of the house. She is an Australian Shedder, er, I mean Australian Shepherd. She is twelve weeks old and an absolute sweetheart. She joins Jack, our seven year old Shedder who already rules the house, any and all Frizbees and tennis balls that he can get his jaws on. Although, by the looks of it, we may have a new Frizbee dog!

    Sagan's gorgeous!

When I was at the SPCA hospital this week, there was an Australian Shepherd there. He was really sweet, and I was tempted to take him home, but alas, it's still too soon. One blue eye and everything. Beautiful dogs!

They are all so cute. I will see if this works... Here is my child. Her name is Shoni. She is a Shih Tzu and is 11.5 years old.

    Oh so many cute pets!!

divingbiker - your two look adorable. I don't think I would get any work done with those two around.

New Chloe pix - she went to see "Santa" yesterday. It was a fundraiser for our local shelter.

I need to get a scanner so I can post pictures of my gorgeous Goldens!

Sweetpea has some magnificent ears! Chloe's ears are also fantabulous -- love that smile.

Here's my polydactyl (6-toed) cat Petey. I rescued him when he was a little kitty from a ditch while on a bicycle ride. He grew up!

Thanks. The collar is on loan from the fosterer until my tags come in, but it's a neat collar. I'm afraid I'm much more low-key than she is. I bought him a black collar and a flourescent orange reflector collar for night walks. His new harness (gentle leader) will be red (the fosterer makes them).

Shiloh's a "he" by the way. Despite Brangelina's daughter, Shiloh is a Hebrew name for a boy. It's also a Civil War Battle in Tennessee that pretty much ensured Union victory in the west (General Beauregard didn't attack the Union troops at night, allowing reinforcements to come in and defeat the Confederates and then continue on into Mississippi). Shiloh is just a good southern dog name, too. But most importantly, it sounds like "Shadow," which was his name before I got him.

Except for the squirrel obsession, he's a great dog. Even that, though, is amusing. I just don't know how to respond to a squirrel sighting and the subsequent incredible level of concentration on that squirrel (or tree where he saw a squirrel yesterday!). He won't budge!

Three, that is one good looking hound dog. I love hounds. I considered a Pound Hound but then met Shiloh.

She has more of a dachshund face while Solomon looks more hound-y.

She loves her little wool coat
