    Thanks; these are interesting options.

    I'm curious about the different inseam lengths. I don't have a basis for decision-making on that. In general, I'd say less is more, but perhaps the longer inseams perhaps do a better job of keeping the padding in place.

    And should I assume that frequent mention of grippers on the bottom mean that the legs riding up is an issue? I've never worn anything similar to that, so I'm somewhat flummoxed by the choice.

    Yes, legs can ride up depending on your leg shape or just hit at an unflattering length.

    Grippers on the bottom are also intended to hold up leg or knee warmers. Additionally, short inseams don't combine well with these.
