I don't know the history here, either, but having been on the sidelines in several other struggles where a women-only space (d)evolved into something less special, I can see why there would be a lot of continuing hard feelings. So while I would hope those on the losing end would be able to find somewhere else and not hold onto their grudges here, I would be sad to lose them, and I would also hope the "winners" would show discretion, too. And I'm sure, Silver, that you meant no disrespect.

For the record, my male DH is an essential part of my life, too, but I'm not entirely comfortable with the fact that he does lurk (not post) in at least one women-only forum I'm on. And he absolutely is not invited to any f2f women's space that I participate in, and he is entirely comfortable with that.

Silver, I did not take your thread as offensive, I thought it was funny and a poke at Mr. Siver.
