Goodness gracious! what is wrong with people?! Of course your post was a joke, and there is no need to apologize.

Silver, no need to apologize. I think it is absolutely wonderful that Mr. Silver encourages you to ride and that you both enjoy your time on your bikes.

You guys are the reason I started posting. Mrs. is talking classes until April and has basically no online time, so I keep taps of what is happening. I appreciate both of you.
Ah, I didn't mean your post, Silver. I meant the one that replied to yours...
This is what happens when you get up too early and write stuff!

Silver is a non-confrontational person. She would never intentionally upset anyone. So, she removed a thread based on the perception of a single person who has chosen to process anything related to me as being offensive.
Personally, I think it's time for the person that hurt Silver's feelings to apologize directly to her. I'd appreciate someone passing that message on to her since she's made it clear that she ignores me simply because I'm a man. If she wants to ignore me, then encourage her to ignore Silver as well because we're a package deal...and we're here to stay.
In life, people either like me or they don't, and I accept that. But NO ONE DISLIKES SILVER and she didn't deserve that attack.

Well said. To ignore or disrespect anyone because of his/her gender is not nice. I feel the same way about my husband; we are a package deal. I guess that's why I had a strong reaction to the comment.
Well - I looked, and couldn't find whatever the post/thread was this whole thread is referring to... but for what its worth Silver you have never posted anything I have ever found offensive
Thought provoking - yes
Able to be construed as contraversial - I guess so
Inspirational - definately
Offensive? - zip, nyada, never...
Courage does not always roar. Sometimes, it is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying,
"I will try again tomorrow".
I have no idea what transpired here but I will say that there are many here who put men on their ignore list to keep with the intent of this being a women's forum.
There are others who have ignore lists for whoknowswhat reason but the point being that for whatever reason, "ignore" is an option open to everyone.
Disrespect is entirely different.
