Ah, yes. The MRI. I had a grad student who did an observation study in a neurology department a few years back. MRIs were standard diagnostic procedure for just about everything!
BTW, that ROFL-smiley Queen posted? In the context of this thread I thought it was her suggestion for scaring the co-workers -- don't fall on the floor and lie still, fall on the floor and writhe, screaming in "pain". Oh, and then lie still. Woops. Then dial 911 for the co-worker who keels over with a heart attack.




. He looked at the CT scan films and said "These tell me nothing, why didn't they do an MRI on you?" So next week I get the MRI, and possibly another EMG
(oh joy).
