No Cadbury eggs for me! That gooey sugar is way too sweet, and I've never been a fan of Cadbury chocolate.

If I'm gonna choose, it's gotta be those Reese's peanut butter eggs (and pumpkins, and hearts and.....)

chocolate and peanut butter for the win!

my partner was in search to get her fix of peeps. Haven't found any yet this season.

I'll pass on both peeps and candy corn.

My chocolate: Callebaut, Guittard, Valrhona. Generally wok with Callebaut 5kilo blocks yummmm.... gooey berry brownies.... yummmm

for finished chocolate goodies: Lindt by far the best for its price.get'em at TJs.

Overpriced but still okay Godiva (it was bought out by Campbell Soup Company) tastes more like nestles than the original Godiva. I miss the old Godiva. I still think it tastes like Nestles maybe because of corn syrup and other non-chocolate stuff. I could of sworn it was owned by Nestles. The explosion of Godivia outlet went from Paris, Brussels and NYC to "on every corner" in the late '70s...

Ses's is always a good standby, never pass them up.

Fudge, preferably handmade/specialty store made. No nuts. Nuts get in the way of pure fudge indulgence.

For all you people waiting patiently for your Peeps to go stale on top of the refrigerator:
Put them IN the refrigerator--they reach a state of simulated staleness within an hour or so, AND they're a nice chilled treat (only a Floridian would care about a chilled treat at Eastertime...or Halloween, I realize, but there it is.) This is how the Chief likes them best.

    I prefer chocolate myself.

Godiva is Nestles?? Say it ain't so!

    + 1 on fudge.

Not that keen on Peeps, love Candy Corn and get my fix at work once a holiday season and I'm done. Dark chocolate in any form is best. Will stoop as low as M&M's.

Does jelly belly have a candy corn flavor?

My CO-Worker brought some of these into work last week. They taste more like white chocolate, it is a different consistency then what one would expect out of "candy corn". It was hard to get over, kind of like the popcorn flavored jellybeans...Yuckkkkkkkk

eeew. I'm a huge fan of regular old hershey kisses. but now they have all these gross weird flavored ones.

my most favorite-ist candy is peanut m & m's. I often have them for lunch or in lieu of a nasty food pellet (clif/luna/power/balance/other energy bar).

I'd almost say the same thing but I am full of vice. I was in London during Easter once when they were giving out packets of Cadbury eggs with pizza purchase. After the pizza (and obligatory egg) I then went back to my hotel and tried to sleep with the devious little buggers in my room. No such luck, they called to me and I ate them. ALL of them. In one night. Total of 6

You'd think I'd be off the eggs and I was for a year or so but alas, not anymore.

We gave peeps to my friend/boss for easter as a joke because she called the 3 of us her peeps. She still has the 3 peeps in her office. I say hi to them every morning. I can also tell if the office is dry or hydrated by how they feel.

I can't believe the shelf life on those things!

I'm not much of a peep or a candy corn kinda girl. Chocolate, yes please, add peanut butter, I'm lost. Also a fan of the cadbury eggs.

Candy corn wins for me, hands down.

More like fists up, though. Around this time of year, I typically shove an entire bag in my face over the course of two or three days, fistful after fistful, then realize how sick I feel from the sugar binge, and I swear it off for another year.

But oh, the sheer joy I feel at that first handful in my mouth...what sweet sickness...

    Peeps? DISGUSTING!!!

Chocolate is in an entirely different category for me.

Yes...but as the dark chocolate kisses are technically also one of these new weird flavors, I'm gonna have to disagree with you. Dark chocolate hershey's kiss just ROCKS!

Has anyone tried coating candy corn in chocolate? It seems like it might be pretty good and I'm sure that someone, somewhere has tried it. Anyone?

Maybe I have an interesting halloween experiement to do.....

Ditto what beane said.- But the Cadbury question- I respect Cadbury eggs, used to love them- (plus they had one of the greastet TV commericals ever- the bunny that clucked like a chicken)- what up?

I love the Dove truffle eggs- only available at easter-

and Peeps- pink bunnies or yellow chickies only- the blue & purple are too weird for me.
