    But I agree with Equus123 here.
    I've become a base-layer convert this year. I use (a tad too often - I need to get a second one!) the Under Armour Heat Gear base layer. I got it at REI, but it's also at other places. At first, I was hesitant to wear TWO layers on a hot day, but it does a great job at wicking sweat and keeping me comfy. And, as an added bonus, I have not had the acne issue I've had in season's past because of too much sweat on my skin for too long.

    The Terry Breakaway sleeveless jersey has also been comfy for me on really hot rides.

    Of course, when it gets TOO hot and sticky down here...I stay inside in the air conditioning!

    but, but, but, if I wait until it cools off, that would be November. I'm currently lusting after the mesh jerseys I saw in the Terry catalogue.
