Congratulations! Such a relief! I didn't realize how much stress I was really under until the defense was over. May take a while to unwind, but just think, now you won't be waking up at 2 am remembering some detail you need to address. Enjoy yourself and relax!

Yay!!! Congrats, Badge!! I was wondering how your defense went, and I'm really glad that it went so well.

I must agree that you do explain things well to those of us not in your field. Not only that, but you make it sound interesting as well.

Hope to get more riding in with you before you head off to Houston.

Aaaah the feeling of relief.... the fingers typed to bleeding and the worries about backups (I hope you have backups)!

Congratulations! You haven't told us what it's all about I think?

And with Science, best of luck - tell us when you get it in (actually bring a keg of beer).

Jeez and you are at Stanfort too? *envious*
It's a little secret you didn't know about us women. We're all closet Visigoths.

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.

Ditto! It takes a while to sink in. Congratulations and best of luck submitting the paper to Science! (and do tell us what the dissertation was about).
