FS-Ltd Edition Terry Fast Woman

This beauty of a bike was Team Terry's Captain's spare racing bike in 2004. The geometry/specs (components, frame) are the same as the 2004 Fast Woman -- Dura Ace components, Chris King Headset, very nice Cane Creek wheels. I had inline brake levers put on the handle bar flats, but they easily could be removed. Color is a deep red with no dents/scratches. Unfortunately, the top tube is too long for me to ride comfortably, so the poor bike has been limited to indoor trainer duty. The bike has fewer than 250 outdoor miles on it. Will need a drive train clean/tune up. I am asking $1,000 plus the cost of boxing/shipping. The bike will be sold "as is." I am loathe to part w/this one-of-a-kind beauty, but it deserves a rider who give it outdoor miles. Unfortunately, I don't have a scanner, so I can't post photos, but I can send some via snail mail. What size is the bike? You said the top tube is too long for you- what is your height/inseam?

LOL. Sorry, forgot that critical info. Frame size is 20.5 cm. The standover is fine--the TT is the problem (I'm 5'5" and have a 31" inseam) because I don't like that aggressive a position.

Yes. My Classic is 20.5 inches - or about a 52. I don't know why Georgina insists on measuring in inches...

What is the bike made of?- steel, aluminum, carbon?...

Might i humbly suggest that you get some friend with a digital camera to take a few pix and email them to you or load them onto your computer? You don't need a scanner, just a borrowed digital camera. Might make it WAY easier to sell your bike if people can see some pictures instantly and easily.

Did you mean that the geometry/specs are the same as the 2007 Fast Woman? I can't find any specs on the 2004 model, but the 2007 says it's a double. Unfortunately, I'm not a good enough rider for a double, so I must pass...

One could always put a triple crank on it... Assuming the shifter is the same as the R700 I have on my bike, it will work with a triple, so it would be a matter of a crankset and a derailler...

I'm a knucklehead. Inches, inches. Lisa, the TT length is 21.5"

The bike is steel. When I had my LBS assemble it, the mechanic was raving about the bike---very high quality.

What's special about this one is that it's a limited edition. The Terry decals aren't even painted on it. I wish my torso were a tad longer.

You also could outfit it with a compact crankset (I hate triples. LOL)

I'd really love to see this bike go to someone who will ride it a lot. I am willing to negotiate on price, just so it gets a good home.
