OK! My bike is here! It's beautiful!
So, how about tomorrow (Sunday) - Alameda Creek Trail parking lot 9:30, riding by 9:45! Who's in? (For those who don't now where that is, check this post)
Oh, and for Monday, I'm thinking that that I ought not to have my first attempt at the Bears this season be while I'm still in the "getting to know you" phase with my new bike. So Monday might be something more like the Bay Trial with all extensions - lots of flat miles while I get used to the new position. Hey-
Sorry, but I won't be able to make it tomorrow :-( The dissertation writing is actually going pretty well, but my best friend unexpectedly came to town this weekend, so I took a couple hours off this afternoon to have lunch with her, and I really need a good night sleep before pounding the rest of this thing out tomorrow and Monday.
Have a great time, and after June 14th I will be up for lots of riding!
