Now there's an idea, let's work that into the next contract at mega-telco. I'd walk the picket line for that one: birthdays off!! Yeah!.

No, I'm at work. I do get lots of time off (21 days, + the usual holidays + if I can afford to take unpaid time off just do that +....) well, more time off than many folks. But I'd rather save that up for cycling and or Knott (everybody: awwwwwwww )

Wahine - I was in Florida for a while helping my folks out with their new computer and some household stuff.

Note to anyone thinking of buying a new PC...avoid Windows Vista like the plague. HOURS on hold with tech support in India and more glitches than I can count, boxed it back up and returned to Best Buy on day three.

Good to see you again Queen. Sorry about the computer hassle. As Trek mentioned (but not in these words) MACs rule.

We've been contemplating a new laptop in the next year...I came home and said "I don't care that it costs more, I'm buying a mac next time!", she said she thought it was time to switch too. So will you mac folks be available for consult when I can't figure out the most basic things like clearing the cookie cache?

I had one of those. I even had an Apple II. Yup, I'm a Mac girl all the way. Right now I've got the G4 powerbook and I love it.

Macs are waaaaayyyyyyyy more intuitive than PCs with Windows. You'll have no problem at all and the tech support is great.

don't eat Macs and don't use 'em either.

can rebuild my own computer whenever I want to. I guess that makes me a PC nerd.
and I'll wait until Windows Vista is in its 3rd rerun before i even think about it.
