Really? you had a feeling? Hmm. And I thought I was being all cool about it. MY big question, though, is- What do you do if you lose the whiffle ball and/or rubber bands in the process??!! I like to think I'm inventive, but that's just weird

    *snort!*

Maybe it's one of those things- it doesn't matter if you lost the eq... what matters is that you had it at all?

    how... deep.

I finally found a song that feels like my theme song for right now... www.myspace.com/symphonyofme- click on "The Afterlife" Hope you have good speakers or headphones tho... the bass is very deep in some places... best played at mid-volume- loud enough to hear all the 'flavors' but soft enough to still get the subtlety.

The DJ is actually a friend of mine... Great guy. One of the million geminis in the world that has the II on the back of his neck (fair, though, because pple should always warn others that they're Geminis...) and incredibly talented... mmmm good song.

And then some dogs are simply heroic

This story (http://www.dagbladet.no/nyheter/2007/03/14/494986.html in Norwegian and too long to translate, but you can see the pictures) is about Taylor (left), the Aussie shepherd, who woke up his Mom (right) and wouldn't let her go back to bed until she'd checked the front door. There she found a confused elderly lady who'd been walking for miles, in her stocking feet, with an ambulator. It was well below freezing outside and the woman was thin clad with bleeding feet, so she'd have died by morning if Taylor hadn't woken up his Mom for the rescue.

Half-marathon over. Sabbatical year over. It's back to "sacking shirt and oat cakes" as they say here.

    Jen,

the one about the dog? That was from D.on Wheels. I'm looking pages back for inspiring story from Deb, maybe I missed that.

I've got lots of catching up to do on TD. Where's the TOC?

This time change has me beat and confused. Woke at 3 am could not get to sleep so looked at smartwool. Then back for a nap and woke at 8am.

Good thing I'm off work today (I think )

It's just one hour, why'm I so tired?

Take it easy today and enjoy a nice nap. I am a big fan of afternoon naps.

Oh yeah, look at me, I can't even read my sisters name off to walk the dog, then take a nap. Where is the jersey that says "is it nap time yet?"

With all my typos I had to triple check to make certain I did indeed put type the correct letters.

If there is a jersey with that on it, I definitely need to buy one.

I have today off too. No one but my manager knows it - well, I guess they will figure it out when they don't get any reports from me today.

I'm going to the doctor this morning for my regular check up. I finally get brave and call the new doc I picked from my HMO/PPO -- damn if she isn't out on maternity leave! So I'm seeing her substitute.

Later I'm going to see my friend BobS for a massage - super deep tissue. I've got knots in my shoulders and back that I should name, they've been there so long.

Most important - my Sidi shoes have arrived at REI! I'll pick them up after the doc appointment.

And might I add, that although I realize I am very lucky I do not get the "turn bright red, sweat a river" hot flashes, these little "glows" are getting irritating.

Is stress a factor in their frequency?
