Wasn't it Nanci's daughter's parrot that had to wear one of those to keep from chewing his leg? ...and then someone else thought we were talking about Nanci's daughter's BF or something, wearing an Elizabethan collar, and we said it was the new fashion for young men- too funny!

Yeah, I'd have to check the TE TD TOC on that one but I think that was D.o W. with the fashion question.

Speaking of Nanci, anyone seen or heard her of late?

LBTC and Cuda, ((((( hugs ))))). Glad cuda does not like duct tape.

TE TD in general remember most of this country thinks we're them as in us vs. them.

LBTC one thing i used for peanut was bitter apple. i would put it on top of her dressing and she would leave it alone. though you have to spray some in their mouth first, and then they realize (quickly) that it isn't good. peanut even sees the bottle and she's shaking her head and running. though she doesn't touch her dressing anymore when i have to put one on her.

He eats plastic out of the garbage (a mistake we'll try not to do again!), so I'm guessing duct tape would be yummy with a delightful chewy texture! Doggie bubble gum!

Apparently 'Cuda finds the taste of duct tape to be not altogether objectionable, but not nearly as delightful as fake leather bootie. We'll be doing the bandage in the next half hour. Wish us luck.

Oh, and after weeks of feeling awful on this new diet that's supposed to make me better, I have broken the diet. I am enjoying a glass of wine with my honey flavoured goats milk yogurt. I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired, so there it is. I wonder how I'll feel tomorrow.

And I wonder if the bandage covered with the extra protection of sock and duct tape will make it through the night.

The things that make me go hmmmmmm

Now that I'm home I can post e-collar pix. Chloe had one last year when she had corneal ulcers. HATED IT! Two collar stories.

She woke me up in the middle of the night, rubbing her eyes - big no-no. So on went the collar. I swear she sat on the bed and stared at me for hours after. You haven't lived until you've been glared at for hours by a corgi.

Another time she had it on after seeing the eye doctor. She had to go outside, it was raining. I figured she'd run out, pee, run back in. When she didn't appear at the door, I went looking for her. She was sitting in the middle of the lawn, head hanging down, rain running off the collar. She looked absolutely pitiful. I went out and removed the collar - she bounced across the yard, peed, then ran indoors.

And I thought chocolate martinis were strange. That was before I heard of the Corgi Martini.
