Thank you, thank you, thank you to my January SS. I am wearing my "toe" socks as I type...Never had anything like that, but will wear them and think of you...Ok, I did a search on Torrance, CA in the getting to know you thread and the only one I came up with is greenmachine....Is it you? If it is, thank you again and if not, thank you my Secret Sister....

I've been eyeing them, on the featured products page, this week and are just what I wanted! Thank you so much. Your thoughtfulness is really appreciated! So, Salsabike are you my SS??

Yes, and I am so glad you liked everything! I read all your posts for whatever I could glean from them, and it was really fun to do that. The Lin socks have a pink peace sprocket--I figure we're all wanting peace no matter from what direction...

But how did you know it was me vs. all the other Seattleites?

    Kiwi Girl, thank you!

Hey, I LOVE Ground Effect--I went through a whole email thing with them last fall involving a custom pair of Witches' Britches. They are beyond cool. So to have a Ground Effect Baked Beanie hat is perfect! I am delighted to have the hand warmers because I am really subject to cold fingers. The purple-stripe NZ sheep socks are totally adorable. I would love to see NZ some day--Mr. Salsa lived there for about eight months and loved it. Also, as both a Wales fan and a knitter, I just plain like sheep. And I have yet to read a book by Lance himself, so thank you very much for that book. I did read and was totally fascinated by "Lance Armstrong's War" (just in case anyone needs a book rec).

The only Seattleites I saw in the SS threads were you and Mimitabby. Mimitabby had already been thanked by her SS. So, I figured it was you.

Yes, I think everyone would like some peace. Thanks again!

Thank you to my January SS from the UK!!!
Got my package today - yummy hot cocoa and ExpressToddy, a hot black currant drink that I had tonight for dessert. Yummy!
    And, wow...
I do have to say...the women of TE are a very talented bunch.
She also sent my "wrist warmers" that she made to keep my wrists warm on cold rides when my jersey sleeves are just *not quite long enough*! Boy, don't I know THAT one! That is such a great idea. My DH said he used to use old socks for that when he was a kid, but I think my home-made wrist warmers are MUCH better! I intend to put them in my ski bag too!
    Thank you!!!

Thank you to my ss - I'm a lousy sleuth, so I haven't a clue! Everything is wonderful....the truffles are gone.

A big thank you to My SS (Sue)!! What a lovely care package for warming up after a chilly ride! And lovely smart wool socks to boot. Ahhhh. Dh has been eyeing the scone mix and chocolate with interest since I've been making him follow the "Eating For Life" program with me (he's really quite a slender fellow, so that's asking quite alot). I've promised to make the scones if he comes riding with me sometime. You really made my day .

Oh, and makbike, there was also a pair of ear warmers that was supposed to go into your festive package. So embarassing! I got home from the post office to find them still sitting on the table! I'll try to slip them in the mail sometime soon.

Humph. Gotta change my place label. Didn't occur to me that all the other locals on this board---and there are plenty---didn't actually have "Seattle" on their profiles. Um...so...not much of a mystery there.

Guilty. I got the link in a magazine and was looking for an opportunity to use it. There are a lot of different cool varieties of socks.

I think you need one of those "sockaholic" or "sock addict" tshirts

A huge thank you to my really secret SS

not only did you obviously do your research to find out my absolute favourite cycling products company - but in the process you managed to find a way around the postmark and customs form ruining the secrecy.

The bandana will be great for the 'man its hot out there days' - we had our hottest day of the summer on Monday. The 'padded cell' is much appreciated too - I'm always a bit worried that the tools banging around in the seat bag of my commuter bike might puncture my spare tube but had never got around to doing anything about it.
