Kit - sounds like you have found a good home. I'll be up with my Raspberry Vodka.....

Tattoos on the thumb web -- oowwww! Bet it looks cool though.

TimTams are the stuff of the devil. The package I bought barely lasted two days. Won't be buying more of those babies for a while, I'm sure I've put 3 pounds on since Christmas.

It's windy here and god knows what is blowing around - my nose will not stop running. It's not many people that can pull off that oh so attractive look of Kleenex stuffed up your nose. Try not to be jealous girls

BTW - my cell phone is back on. All cuz Trek told me the magic words to use with Verizon Rep #15. (yes, 15 Verizon people I got to talk to before my phone was turned back on)

    Cingular ROCKS!

Very windy here, too. Glad I'm in a basement apt, so I don't end up with trees in my living room.

It's crazy warm here - in the 60s. Think I'll go hang my hammock in the back yard and sleep outside tonight. Besides, the roof is dripping onto my side of the bed, so I can't sleep there.

Bikemomx3 is on her bike...Kit has an apt with a land lord with tat's and piercings....Knott's cell is on ... CWR's recovering... Dar's working her way through the frogs you gotta kiss to find your prince or princess if one bats for that team...all's well with the world...well, almost all's well with the world.

In our little TE TD corner of the world.

Knot has the patience of a saint, a saint I tell you. I'd have said the magic word ("let me speak to your supervisor, no, I'm not gonna wait for a call back " ) at about oh say about Verizon rep # 2.

MMmmm, dinner! Cheap steak sauteed in a head (not clove, girls, but an entire HEAD) of garlic and olive oil until it is falling apart, and baked potato.

    Chocolate and almonds for dessert.

yeah, no green veges, but I promise I'll have some in the next week or so.
(do mushrooms count? no, didn't think so. Oh well, I can always hope.)

A little You Tube is a dangerous thing...

-Knot slinks off to find more Xena and Gabrielle set to country and western music.

Edit: Oh, look, some Xena fans have toooo much time on their hands... shall we belabor the obvious? (and it's not even c+w!)

woah, that's pretty much all 3 types of alcohol I like in one drink? (only thing missing is peach schnapps but not sure that'd work in this combo). That'd be interesting to try out.

/me, currently missing my wild youth. if you see her anywhere, let me know.

Yeah, X, I'm lurking. Guess now is as good a time as any to say hi to all you Thread Drifters!
I've been lurking for a while, since X and OTG mentioned this thread when we were out for a ride a couple months ago. I've learned a lot from you all and have been entertained as well. Thanks!

About me... I used to mountain bike years ago, picked up a road bike last year and rode my first century in October. I'm still new to cycling and learning all the time. In real life I am a nurse. I work night shift in the ER which is why my lurking is usually done at this time... 1:30am on my nights off when I can't sleep. My sense of humor is slightly twisted and I'll try to keep that in check for a while!
I look forward to getting to know you all and spending time here... unlurked.

    Ride hard,
    Gypsy

    do

    De do de do..

Yo yo....Isnt you tube cool? The amt of music videos i've managed to see after all these years is rather interesting...

My back feels much better now. The knot is gone & it's probably from not sitting properly...good thing i'm workin on my pilates...just not well enough..

Yes, tim tams are evil but oh so yummmy. I now have a strange addiction to Fig Newtons. I think i may have found some here similar to the Nabisco ones but who knows if they taste the same.
I like my dealers for Cliff Bloks etc in the US but don't want to bother them... (jen the peeps are still in the freezer...)
