I'm a SS newbie.
When are you supposed to reveal who your SS is?

"Keep plugging along. The finish line is getting closer with every step. When you see it, you won't remember that you are hurting, that anything has gone wrong, or just how slow or fast you are.
You will just know that you are going to finish and that was what you set out to do."

Hard to keep it secret when the package is postmarked H@ll.![]()
Half-marathon over. Sabbatical year over. It's back to "sacking shirt and oat cakes" as they say here.
It's hard to decide what to send...esp when ya can't send what one really wants...I'm off to search for a cool item today...
And ya, it's hard to remain secret when you live overseas.

Aha, I think this might be a clue to who my Silver Spring, Maryland ss of November was/is!
But seriously ...
Yesterday I recieved the most sweet hand-knitted hat. It is in a real dark carob brown (carob bean on-the-tree not the powder) with flecks in clay-yellow and cream. It is as if someone has spun a yarn from a carob-nut health energy bar! I could just *eat* it!
It is a perfect weight/warmth for our winter and covers the tops of my ears but not my ear-rings so a perfect size too
Going over to the wool-weenie thread now...
Btw, there was a nice cat card with it which I am hiding from my cat in case she gets ideas about wool-as-plaything.
And she also must be in touch with Regina because she put her address (California) with no name and an illegible sig on the customs declaration
