I finally found a buff I really love. I was all ready to order it and they are sold out. Has anyone seen this buff anywhere else? It is called "Polynesian Postcard" shown here: http://www.terrybicycles.com/detail.html?item_no=1718

Yes, I am buying an AV one, but I figure I need several. If you have seen the one listed above elsewhere please let me know. TIA!

MIMI you are a HOOT! And NANCI don't think the frog guts thingy went unnoticed.... ugh

We had pretty severe winds and rain last night too.... blew open our gate in the yard. Luckily our dogs were too dumb to run away further than the front porch.... they alerted us with their barking at rustling leaves...

There is a three year old Mexican Hognose, just south of Tampa, that I could pick up. She is said to eat frozen mice. Something happened to her mate, and she is no longer needed for a breeding project. She huffs and puffs but does not bite.

Do you keep all these critters in one room of your house? I'd love to see a picture of the whole gang...

Addy is in my bedroom. (As are her scenting anole, unnamed, and her tree frog, unnamed) Maizey, the two torts, and Mr. Toad are in the kitchen.
Milly, Choco and Inez are in the living room. Dill is in the guest bedroom. Fagalo is outside.

Home- finally! DGF has a movie all picked out for us, so it should be an interesting evening.
X- feel free to call, but the way we jump from one weird play on words to another, I think it'd be weird to hear one side of it. Though I don't need company tonight, I don't think I'll be lonely cuz DG is home tonight.
CWR- call if you need to, ok? That's what friends are for.

DGF has a ruby port out so I'm not 'with it' but I think I'm posting ok. Missed her a bit over the week so I'm behaving and staying off the TE. take care, all a' y'all.

Your poor friend was obviously feeling low self worth.
I think you're right - she's overcompensating in a huge way. Even though she's the one that wants the divorce, it still has an effect on her. She's not the first woman I've known that thought getting new boobs would make everything alright! When they discover it doesn't, they move on to the next thing - like $80 eye cream.

Band camp? Maybe not camp but certainly band trips in high school. I remember this one to Edmonton. 4 of us couldn't afford to fly so we took the train. Oh darn it took 24 hours so we got to miss an extra day of school both ways AND travel unsupervised. (Oh and I played piano in band (flute in juniour high).

why are fake boobs overcompensating? Maybe she just doesn't want them ending up pointing at the floor... So maybe she loves everything about her body BUT her boobs... its her body. It does not always translate to low self esteem/worth. (I could go on, but there is where my mouth might get me in trouble....)

NANCI - I say get it. If the snake is no longer wanted, who knows where it will end up.... it'd have a good home with you.

Oldtime stringband camp (for grownups) (mandolin, banjo).

Cool Lisa. I'd love to play the mandolin. I have a 5 string banjo that I hack on. Love the sound of a banjo but don't have enough time to practice... Do you still play?

It's not just the boobs, it's everything. She's in an absolute panic about aging. First she needed the boobs so she'd feel better, didn't really do the trick; her self esteem is still very low. Now she blows money on every cream/lotion/oil to prevent any sign that she might be over 40. I could go on, but you'll just have to take my word for it - we are not talking about a secure in her own body woman.

Ohhh - now I get it. Kinda like a female version of a "male midlife crisis" only instead of the young chippie and sleek new 'vette, she opted for boobs and botox...... very sad......

Yes, I play a lot. Mostly clawhammer banjo and mountain dulcimer. And I sing. DH is an excellent fiddler.

Mimi plays oldtime music too, did you know?
