Well DAR - I guess we now know its about popularity and NOT dancing ability. Mario was by FAR a better dancer but certainly Emmit has more of a fan base. And I was very pleased to see Mario handle it as well as he did. I'd love to punch that Ebinezer judge tho.... does that make me a bad person???

Kelown - sounds like a lot of family drama. I hope you get it straightened out and not caught up in it.
Saw my chiro last night. He said my psoas muscle is causing a lot of my problems. I've been doing some research and found this really interesting article:http://www.positivehealth.com/permit...ork/koch65.htm
Maybe that explains my balance problems and bike crashesSo he told me no more running until we get this fixed and I get to do 2000 leg lifts (to the back, half standing bent over and the other half laying on my stomach) every day, and trying the scissors splits. So another goal is shot this year - I wanted to run in a 5K on the 26th. I am going to get this fixed and have a great 2007!

So very true. 70+ pounds gone and I know I will always need to watch what I eat. I learned to not allow food to dictate my life. Now I can have my all time favourite Chinese takeaway and not think twice about it, because I know it is not something I will do every day. For me, I cannot imagine saying I will never eat "fill in the blank" again. I am hoping to have several decades left on this earth and I do plan to enjoy them.![]()

Fredwina, in our civilization where food is always at your fingertips, I think it is true that we are always going to watch what we eat. Our ancestors survived starvation regularly from crop failures, bad weather, etc, we never have to deal with interruptions in our food supply. So we have to monitor ourselves always.
Our bodies are programmed to tell us that we are hungry even when we aren't really. So what's worse, starving or feeling hungry all the time?
Yes, I have a "good" brother and an "a**h*le" brother. The good one can be exhausting and frustrating sometimes, but at least he is always good natured. The other one loves to be in control and is a bully sometimes. At least we all manage to be on speaking terms (except for one year when my bad brother screamed at me (what a jerk!) and then refused to speak to me at all because I wouldn't do what he told me)Glad I get to choose who we spend Thanksgiving and Christmas with!

Geez, I feel like I'm in a dysfunctional family. We all get along, brothers and sisters. What a bunch of freaks we are!![]()
Ah - the fallout from the LV trip is beginning. One of our travel party was a bit out of control. She is newly separated, with new boobs, and an overwhelming desire to be noticed BY THE WORLD -- as in "Hi!, My name is Doris, and these are my breasts!" A bit bossy and demanding - IF she ever travels with me again she will learn to STFU; the world does not rotate around your boobs. My "I'm going to kill her moment" came when she insisted on going to the mall - "I need to go to Macy's and buy face cream. It gets rid of the puffy eyes". For $80 it had better make me coffee and cook me breakfast.
