I do the same thing. When people change their avatars it throws me off.
I do look like my avatar, since that is me. Plus my mug is plastered somewhere in TD.

Um, no, I don't actually look like a dachshund... I'm at work, so can't post a pic of me, but if you scroll back a few hundred pages in TD, there's a picture of me with niece Maya, sometime around the end of August. I'm of good German/Swedish/Danish/Scottish stock. Big feet, big b00bs. The wind does not knock me over.

I've seen a Tibetan woman and a Mongolian woman today, both of whom I'm referring to the doc's clinic at the hospital for chronic health problems. They're pregnant, and I sure can't manage their care from this little city clinic. On any given day here, I see women from Mexico, Ecuador, Honduras, Belize, Ghana, Nigeria, Tibet, Mongolia, Bosnia, Ethiopia, Sudan, Somalia...you get the point. It is fascinating.

Back to it! Feel better kelowana girl and B3. And anyone else I missed! L.

I had to go back over more than a 100 pages of TD to see if my pic was still there. We are a prolific group.

I know what you look like, or recall your pic anyway. You are lovely. Your avatar brings a smile to my face everytime I see it.

Then you'd love it here. With the Bay Area it's not just the diversity which I love but....everyone comes here and brings their food and it all grows here.

Farmer markets filled with Thai herbs and Cambodian melons and Japanese pickles and ..... sure it's crazy busy in the city but I can get to the country where this stuff all grows to eat it or ride near the farms in very short time. If you listen quietly you can hear the housing closing in on the farms but they are still there, thriving and beautiful.

I don't look like my pix at least I'm not green most days. I can personally attest that I've now seen Knots bike and Flossie looks just like that

I'm at work too, so there's no way i'm going to scroll back 100 pages. a link i will follow though.
I live in a very ethnically diverse area. I love it when they wear traditional garb then i can fantasize about where they are from. But life must be tough all around the world, that's why they're all in our city (and cities in europe too!)

DAR - your avitar does offer some credence to a certain masculinity altho I am thinking its probably not fitting for YOU specifically.... perhaps inspiration for Operation Toad?

MIMI - the new bianchi's geometry is described as: "stable geometry and more comfortable position in the saddle during long rides thanks to the BAT technology (Bianchi Active Technology) which, decreases the vertical stiffness with no side effect on the horizontal one".

    So - now we know

CWR - Airports... Nuff said. I feel for you girl.
