Dang, I need to time my insomnia better so I don't miss the good stuff. But insomnia and hot flashes did lead to something good this week -- discovered that the skylights over my bed are leaking (well, that isn't really good, but it's good that I know about it). Been wondering about some circular brown stains on my sheets at about knee level. Then I'm laying awake with the covers thrown off one night and feel a big drop of water land on me. Guess menopause is good for something.

I went to the LBS today for a 2 mm axle spacer. Took the guy 15 minutes to find one. But the most exciting thing I got was a 16 oz tub of Pedro's Syn Grease. Woohoo! Still debating if I want to redish my clincher rear wheel to a 6-speed and have 2 sets of wheels (clincher and tubular) for one bike, or leave the clinchers on the old 5-speed just for trainer use.

You all have a good day/night/whatever.
Oil is good, grease is better.

Well Deb, you aren't the only one up right now. I'm seem to be up having another puke-fest. Felt fine all day yesterday but couldn't keep down my supper... Lovely... Npw it's 2 in the morning and I'm trying to figure out if I'll be able to go to school tomorrow, and if not, when should I call a sub, and how will I get a decent daybook done at this time of night, so maybe I should go in anyway. argh.

    o

    Hey kids

KG-sure hope you feel better by the morning. Take care & perhaps a day from the monsters/munchkins will help?

Why is it that people think i'm nuts? My boss thinks i'm cool but nuts for all the exercise I do. She asked me yesterday, jokingly, if I absailed to work Err not quite, I just did a running session(hill work.. )with the tri group.

I then tell people I bike min 50km/day 3-4 times/week and i'm now adding 10-15km to my ride home. The looks ( ) i get from people are hilarious. (20km to work & 30-50km home)

Hey you, get off my cloud.

    Ta

Kelowna, I wish I had one of the guys from my avatar at home. Just think of the fun I'd have By little guy I mean my 4 year old. Sorry to hear you're still not feeling well. Feel better girl!

CWR, we need pix of the new 'do! I bet it looks awesome on you. Have a safe trip back.

CC, you ride how much Just kidding, but you're crackin' me up.

Lisa, that bra looks really comfy. But I need to control my buying bug I've seem to come down with - yikes!

Snap, happy recovery, hehe. Sounds like a blast - good for you.

BMo3, did you ever get one of the smart wool shirts on steep and cheap? I got a large and a medium. The large arrived yesterday and fits perfect. I'm afraid the medium will be too small. If you're interested let me know and I can give you info on it. And I may have to meet X over by ya. You sound pretty cool to me too

OK, off to work. Yes, it has to be done. My tradeshow material arrived at the booth space 1 hour before the show started yesterday. My carrier is going to get an earful soon, and with any luck, they will eat the freight cost to boot. Grrrrr.

'morning TD. It's so hard to get up so early in the morning. Why does it have to be this hard? ...and why does my stomach always have to feel pukey right when I wake up? ugh. Well at least I know it goes away. ...eventually. gotta start getting my commuting sh*t in order, too. *sigh* I hope I'm feeling less pukey by the time I have to be biking in the mornings. ugh!

    Other than that....

CWR- I'll email your horoscope for Thurs, ok? *hugs* When's your flight? You should be passing almost over-and-to-the-west of me so I'll wave.

    X- Crazy woman. I'll behave, I promise.

KG- ugh lame... sorry you were ill again... take care!

ok that ends that I need to get goin!

    REAL quick this a.m.

Kit - Thanks again for last night. It was a real hoot. I half expected you to call back me on my cell for you know what. hehehe. You are one crazy kid. I may have to hit 3 destinations on my trip. I think I feel a 2 week vacation coming on instead of just one.

CWR - Ready?? Just wanted you to know that there are somethings better left for later. You have a lot on your plate and need to concentrate on one at a time. Don't worry about the rest of it. Everything else can and will wait until you have the time and energy to deal with them. So chill, relax, breathe and put your steel toes on little sister. Have a safe flight back to AK. Give a call if you need to. For any reason. (((CWR)))

Knot - What the heck did you say that Kit is scolding you? Yeah, I already know. Still got the spunk, huh? Good. Hope SKnot is doing good. I bet you missed him terribly. Hope everything else is humming along nicely. Ya back to work yet or do ya have a few more days?

Ok, that's it. No time for music even. At least not at the moment. It'll be blasting on the way to work tho. Need to create a mood before I walk in. It carries me through the day.

have a wonderful day ladies and be safe.

ok its official. you can't sleep or take your eyes of TD when knot is back on. sheesh! i hate when i miss the good stuff, and i always miss the good stuff. is there a pm list of things that knot says that she deletes? if so can i get on that mailing list?

X sorry about the thumb and the head (did it knock any sense into you? ). i spilled hot and sour soup on my thumb last night and you were the first person i thought of.

kit once you get use to getting up in the morning breakfast will come easier for you, not coming up, but going down the first time. my flight out of phoenix is at 12 something phx time. so probably mid afternoon you can start waving like mad. i'll be doing the same for all of you that i'm passing over, even if i'm not passing over your head i'm still waving even all the way out to aussie town.

cc your not crazy, i'm jealous! wish i could do that much. imagin the shape i'd be in.....

kg feel better. not good being sick.

as far as pictures go i don't have a camera, and i really didn't do much to it. just got it slightly trimmed, but do love the color. its a very pretty auburn color with slight gold highlights. i've never had my hair look so good. i have to fly all the way to phx to get my hair done. go figure. then again she did my hair for years and she's another one that wants me to come back just to give her pedicures again. at least i'm still loved.

It fastens in front, with about 16 hooks. The bottom two hooks just smush my xyphoid (tip of sternum) if I don't extend them. Otherwise I love the Enell, but I sure don't need three of them.
well, Lise, when I think of you i think of a little daschund dog, so i thought, maybe she is one of those TINY things...

I wear a 36b so i have a big rib cage too. Good peasant stock, i am. We are short and stout. Well that's compared to a size 4,2, 1, 0, 1/2.. THOSE people.
My Jet lag is feeling permanent. Last night my husband asked me why i was standing up watching TV. I told him because if i sat down i would fall asleep.
So I sat down and fell asleep about 50 times before it was legal to go to bed!

Kelownagirl, i sure help you get to feeling better!

and Kit, I could tell you what to do to keep that pucky feeling from coming on every morning, but i don't think you are ready to hear it!

X, don't you post from work too (like me?)

Snap, i am very impressed with myself. I actually know of one of the songs on your list (Get off of my cloud)

DebW, me too!! there should be a place where you could go to read deleted posts. it would probably make my toes roast though!

Ok so I take a temporary hiatus from TD and am totally lost...... all I managed to get out of the last couple pages is to remind myself that I love Garbage and the buggars have NOT come out with anything new is a long *ss time......

The other thing I wanted to share is the love affair I will never have (not the cheating kind) but this is how I spell drool. Ridley won't mind...... I hope....

What a beautiful bike that is! The only thing that strikes me as odd is how the top tube goes UP instead of down or straight. ouch?

I sure love the Bianchi, i wish they made them more appropriate for us web footed northwesterners... then again, I might decide to not ride again until the roads get dry.

That, and MGM is a much smaller arena. So even though we could only afford the cheap seats, we had a great view. And it's Las Vegas.......

Once again I am left out due to my body demanding sleep. I may need to become nocturnal just to keep up with the fun on TD.

For those of you sick, I do hope you feel better soon. I have a sympathetic sinus headache.

This addresses a critical matter I have been meaning to raise. I have an absolutely firm conviction that people look like their avatars. I was totally freaked out when Caligirl changed hers, since I had it fixed in my mind from seeing it both here and on BikeForums that she looked like a beautiful-eyed manga girl. I still basically believe that...
